Wooo-hooo! OK, so for those of you who remember my worry on how to let the kids see my parents and not be in the middle of yucky situations with my lil bro, we managed to get a good weekend with them. My older brother invited all of us to his new place (beautiful!) and really controlled the situations and conversations. My dad was also there, which helped a lot (his look when you go astray is enough to bring most waywards back!! ha ha). So, my kids got to visit with my mom & dad, and their uncles & cousins without too much trouble. I think the only trauma on this trip was excessive hugs
It was great. Dad said he'd work it so that they could come to our place more, at least until we move to Indiana. Thank you so much for all the advice...we really tried to put it into play, and I think it's working out for the better (I still wish I could whop the younger bro a few times, but that isn't Christlike behavior, nor is it something I want my children to learn.)
