Vacuum Cleaner!

I'm new here and I'm curious to see what everyone's favorite vacuum cleaner is and why? (specifically I'm curious to hear everyone's opinion on Dyson's)

I've used the Windsor Sensor S12 for years and love it! It's a commercial vacuum that our (my husband and I) cleaning company uses and he brought one home and it hasn't left since. These are the ones you see at the Marriott hotels and other such hotels. Totally light, lays down flat to go completely under a normal bed, is VERY quiet, and hasn't slowed down a bit in the 3 years we've owned it.

Let the discussion begin!

That sounds great!

I own a Dyson - almost 2 years old and love it! It is the basic yellow one. The ads are right it doesn't lose suction. I have had to have a couple parts replaced, but they were free from the company. I use it on my hard floors and carpets and furniture.

I have the basic yellow Dyson as well, and I LOVE IT! I had a Hoover Windtunnel and was very happy with it til it kicked the bucket. Sears was out of the one I wanted to replace it, so I got the Dyson. It's soooo coool! I didn't think I would like the bagless part, but I really do. And I dump it much more regularly than I changed bags, picks up so much more dirt. Just really happy with it!

Panasonic...

I have a Panasonic with a shielded motor. I have indoor cats, and kept blowing vacs because cat hair would get in the motor. I splurged on this one, and it hasn't let me down....in fact I have owned this one the longest! I would love a Dyson, but can't afford one right now :/
