What plans do you all have for Spring Break,if any?
We will do one or two one day trips and swim at the indoor high school pool. I may start cleaning out my garden too.

![]() We Had OneThe last week of February I am going to take DS15 to visit two colleges in the 4-hours-from-here range. We will visit one one day and the other the next, with a hotel stay the night between. I will run a 10K race. I also may get my flower beds into shape if the ground is thawed by then! I don't know what else. Some other family fun for sure. Any ideas? Remember, I have to entertain a male 15.5 year old, a male 14 year old, and a 5 year old girl. Plus we live in the sticks. Nearest movie theater is 30 miles away. It can be a challenge! Spring Break! We're headed to Myrtle Beach a week from Saturday and will be home the following week-end! Woooooo Hooooooo! Blessings, Oh, I miss Myrtle Beach! WeOh, I miss Myrtle Beach! We used to go there when I was kid! Lots of puttputt courses. We always stayed at the Swamp Fox Inn. Our plans consist of Drew's 4 month check up (and shots), a cousin and aunt coming down with Grandma's ashes (to spread. They just don't travel around with them. LOL! She died 5 years ago, time for Grandma to come out of the closet. LOL!). I'd like to have all the kids' pictures done. And I was going to go to Albuquerque for State Cheerleading Competition, but I don't know if we will or not since I went to GA earlier this month. OH, and the yard and garden need some desperate attention. Myrtle BeachI grew up about 2 hours from Myrtle Beach and still go there every year. Did you know that this is the last year the Myrtle Beach Pavilion will be open? I read in the Myrtle Beach Sun News that it is going to be torn down and replaced with condos, shops, etc. I am pretty unhappy about that. Megaera Mine's almost overI've spent it studying, doing housework, web-surfing, helping DH with his new job, and going to physical therapy. Spring BreakThis is our first trip to Myrtle Beach. SIL and her husband live in Garden City....about 15 miles outside of Myrtle Beach and we'll be staying with them. We haven't had a "Spring Break" trip since 2001 (we took a cruise) and are really looking forward to it! Thanks, Megeara, for the update on the pavillion...I'll make sure we get there since it is "going away" in the name of progress (blech We don't have much in the way of "plans." DH and I are hoping to spend a good bit of time doing nothing! We do plan to drive south to N. Augusta, SC to visit an aunt and uncle (and a couple of cousins/second cousins...depending on who's available!) Blessings, Jo:Check out this......it should entertain your crew. Even if they have done it before it is still fun! We had fun for 2 days with this stuff! http://www.omsi.edu/visit/chemistry/flubber.cfm Thanks to Susanna for sharing this on her blog.
