How do you store paper treasures?

I have just a few papers (like a funeral program for an old professor, and a baby announcement from a friend) that I want to hang onto and I'm trying to think of a more clever thing to do with them than just a file. I don't like scrapbooking, or much that involves glue. Any ideas?

Store in a keepsake box?

Submitted by Anhata on Sun, 03/05/2006 - 11:11pm.

I have a keepsake box for DD's baby things. In it I put a copy of her birth announcement, the lock of hair from her first hair cut, the cards from her baby shower, etc.

They can be cardboard covered with pretty paper, wooden, glass, whatever, and they're a lovely way to store papers (flat storage is good) and can rest on a dresser, occasional table, or on a bookshelf. You can open the box, pull it out and look at it whenever you want, put it back in, and know it's safe.

They can slide easily into

They can slide easily into sheet protectors(no glue involved), and then into a 3 ring binder or photo album. You can also put them in a shadowbox and hang it on the wall. You can have it made into a collage and laminate it. What else??? can't think at the moment........
