New Member saying Hey

Submitted by newmom215 on Thu, 02/23/2006 - 1:04pm.

Hey everyone, I am new to the site/forum and just wanted to say "hi." I am a new mom, in the sense that I am now married and a stepmom to a teen. I am lucky though, he is a great to me (haha- both the husdand and the son!!) I am an Detroit Lions FANATIC!! Yes, I know they aren't the best, but still, I am a loyal fan, and I miss football season terribly! I came across www.savedaday.com while trying to find some off-season facts. It is this site that is trying to petition to make the day after the National Championship game a National Holiday!! Isnt that crazy!?!?! They say 1.4 million people already call out sick! Anyway (I have a tendancy to go on and on and on- sry) I just wanted to get the ball rolling and introduce myself a bit!

I suppose I'm "old mom 2 15!" I have a 15 year-old...oh, excuse me....15 and a half...year old daughter along with another DD who will be 11 next week.

TNH is a great place for information and for sharing/venting...whatever! Please pop on over to the forums and join the conversations!

Congratulations on your new family!
Condolences on your football team! Eye-wink Laughing out loud

Blessings,
Lenora

thanks for making me feel "welcome." And I love that quote about a womans work never being done! lol. I know I am very fortunate with my step-son, very unusual, especially since I wasnt the easiest to raise! haha

but watch out for the sense of humour - I take it she isn't a big Detroit fan, but that's hardly surprising from her part of the world!

anyway, hello and welcome. A nice teenager huh?? Wow - you must have done something GOOD in a previous life! Laughing out loud My two are DD9 and DS7, and if they ever live long enough to be teens I may not survive their teens! They're already more than the average handful.

as for going on and on... I've yet to find my equal! Eye-wink

Kerri.
