Doldrums

There's really no other word for it. I'm in the doldrums. OK, maybe another word is dumps. I'm uninspired and uninspiring. Really, all I want to do is sleep. I'm spending too much time staring off into space...

I'm with you
I slept all afternoon and all I really want to do now is crawl back in there rather than eat. I think the lack of food is a vicious cycle in this instance though!
think of it as creative hibernation Lynn - maybe it won't last long and you'll bounce back more creative and interesting than ever before. Read junk for a while or just veg. Computer games maybe...

Me Too
I have so much that has to get done, and all I feel like is crawling into bed with a book.
If I can get my crap together for this vacation it will be a miracle.
Bah.
As long as you don't stay there to long.....
the doldrums can start to feel pretty comfy and then you can't get out!

My experience
I've had my own bit of the doldrums this winter too. I am hoping it is just seasonal. Really not like me. I know that my "rhythm" has changed as far as my lifestyle - working now everyday - getting up early and leaving the house by 7:00. NOt a lot of downtime for me at home. My life has changed and my mind hasn't caught up to it yet. This week off is helping some I think. I am also trying to eat healthier, take my vitamins, and exercise at least 20 minutes a day. Oh and sleep of course.
