Bright Eyed and Bushy Tailed? Not me. But the paperwork monster is about to eat me whole. I am so bummed and behind on paperwork. And school is out, so I have the boys ALL day. Yeah! BUT, I'm going to put on some tunes, and get started with routines. Then work on the paper pile in 15 minute blocks of time. Hmmm... Zone three now? I had to check. Need to put those stickers on my calendar. --Karin Good Afternoon! TADA morningGood Afternoon! TADA PODA Got a coupon in the mail a few weeks ago for a free haircut at a new salon so I used it today. Looks good, same style just shorter. Bumped into an old friend at Aldi today. Had't seen her in about 5 years or more. We exchanged numbers so we can catch up hopefully. Well, Karin, it looks like you and me kid. Have a good one Heidi Vitamins?Heidi, what vitamins do you take? I NEED some!!!!! Seriously, things are going okay here. I'm TRYING to keep on track. Hard with three little distractions buzzing around... --Karin Hi!I'm here! But Monday is my big day at school. I might, possibly, get my home blessing done today. ![]() HereJust not much to post. TADA PODA I still havn't managed to get Kelly's missions done, and only got the zone work accomplished twice in the last 3 weeks. How do the rest of you manage zones and missions? The routines really do help with my stress level, so I will try to stay on top of them! See Ya, Zones? MIssions?HA!! I can barely keep up with morning and before bed routines! LOL! I did town yesterday instead of my weekly blessing. Today I've spent all day cooking, but cleaned as I went so the kitchen is neat. Hired hand made me mad. He was supposed to dig up my crepe myrtles so I could transplant. Instead, he chopped them off at the base. Now I not only have nothing to plant, but I still have to dig out the roots so I can plant something else! ARG!! ![]() Barely hereI haven't had a decent nights sleep in days, and yesterday was especially awful. I may not make it to dinner! Sadly DH has been working nights, so I cannot even guilt him into letting me sleep, since he hasn't slept either. I think it's going to be a pretty tame Valentine's Day around here! PODA Good Afternoon! TADA morningGood Afternoon! TADA PODA Shaun-hope you stay awake Jenny-bummer on those plants. Make him dig up the roots! Happy Valentine's to all!!!! Heidi ![]() Happy Valentines Day!Hope your all having a wonderful day. Yesterday and today have been non-stop Today's TADA Shaun, I'm sorry to hear about your sleep issue. I have some major sleep issues myself so I feel for you. I hope you manage to catch up Jamie lea ![]() Hi All! Happy Valentine'sHi All! Happy Valentine's Day everyone! We have had a low key day - DH got me a Starbucks gift card which I will use! I got him a cheesecake and a Jelly Belly collection. Cards of course and the kids got gifts. Other than that a typical day - laundry, etc. Jamie Lea - I qm enjoying your pics - that is a great zoo! We enjoyed it even before kiddos. Heidi, we think alike with the cheesecake! Love it - nice that you could grab lunch together. Hey Shaun - gosh you've got to get your sleep. I often go to bed at 9:00. If all else fails, I often just try to go to bed early and it helps. Hi everyone else! Must run to bedtimes for kiddos! Andrea Just checking in...Jennye, Oh, MY GOSH!!!!! I'm so sorry about your crepe myrtles!!!!! Grrrrr.... I agree with Heidi, have him dig up the darn roots. Shaun--PLEASE don't feel so much Valentine's Day pressure. Everyday is VDay, right? Kind of, sort of? Heidi, I like it when you post your TODOs and PODAs. They help me remember what I'm supposed to be working towards. I'm one of those who is just trying to keep up with MR and BBR right now. Andrea, my DH loves those Jelly Bean collections, too. Jamie Lea, PICTURES? Okay, lousy day, didn't go as "planned". Right down to smashing my finger tip in the rear access window to the SUV. It was stuck, couldn't reach the latch to open, had to pull the finger out. I kind of gave up on the rest of the day and just decided to be "happy". Going to chill a little this evening and see if I can recover a bit now. --Karin zones and missionsSometimes I do them, sometimes I don't. Depends on the day. Sounds like everyone's day has been pretty crazy! Mine hasn't, thankfully. Just normal. One of my friends went into the hospital but it was a calm, expected thing which is not really scary, just unpleasant. Otherwise, everything has been routine. TADA: -kept up with routines ![]() Ouch! That sounds nasty, Karin. Well, our V-day night is winding down. Very simple dinner, then forced myself to unload and reload DW while DH slept on the sofa -- through the children banging on the piano and screaming "Wake Up Wallace!" (Playing Wallace and Grommit.) I had gotten some yummy Choxie mocha dream cakes from Target, so after the kids went to bed we ate those. Now DH is taking doggie for a walk and I am in my PJs, Valentine socks, and fleecy robe in front of the computer. Everyone has this yucky cough, too. Woo hoo! -- I hope every day isn't like *this* valentines day! Do I fold the laundry in the dryer? I am sooooo cold, and the basement is even colder . . . Tune in tomorrow to see if Shaun drags her a** back downstairs or just retires with her Sudoku book for the evening! Good Morning! PODA morningGood Morning! PODA Karin-ouch,hope your finger feels better. Is it very swollen? Becky-great idea on the heart shaped pizza. How'd you find a cookie cutter shape that big??? LOL Jamie-love going to the zoo,but too cold to do in winter here. What's your website address again?? Andrea-cheesecake is DH favorite besides my carrot cake of course. Must run.... Heidi Shaun, I would pick Sudoku.Shaun, I would pick Sudoku. What did you decide. LOL! Karin, OUCH!!! Is it ok now? I've been helping DH all morning finishing up all the paperwork for our damage claim to the Air Force from the fire. He has an appointment to go on base this afternoon to turn it in. We took lots of pictures of damage and got lots of quotes on stuff. Dinner for MIL went well last night. And it was mostly all cleaned up before she got here so not much to do afterwards. I've talked DH into letting me fly out to GA to visit my mom, whose having a rough time right now with jailbird stepbrother. It won't be for a couple of weeks yet, but I have LOTS to do before then. I don't want any bitching about how I left the house. I want it all clean so that any mess made will be THEIR OWN. And maybe I'll be appreciated a bit when I get back for all I do. Yes, I'm being a martyr. Just Drew and I are going, leaving DH with the other three (should be VERY interesting, him with 3 kids for 5 days. LOL!). I actually wanted to take Chance, but DH can't stand being away from his boy for that long. LOL! Anyway, bottom line, massive housecleaning for the next couple of week!! Good Morning! PODA morningGood Morning! PODA No school for both kids til Tuesday. Gonna plan something fun. We will see Nanny McPhee one day and visit my mom another, maybe a museum? We'll see..... Have a good one Heidi ![]() What do you think?Of course I picked Sudoku! Ugh, I am sick. DH is sick. Girls are recovering. I told DH we ought to send them to a kennel til we're better. I read books, did puzzles, and generally attended to DD2s every whim this morning, then I noticed it wasn't even 10 am! Ack! Hello PBS Kids! My plans for the day are: freelance work, unload/reload DW, fluff and fold dryer stuff (it is a different load from the last post!), make dinner. I think that's all I can handle. Enjoy the time together Heidi! My DD6 liked Nanny McPhee -- didn't love it, but liked it. I'm going to try to get a little proofreading done while Sesame Street is still interesting to DD2 and DDog is in the crate. I just spent the morning atI just spent the morning at the school with 31 screaming little girls having cheerleading pictures done. Not sure if I even have the energy for anything else. LOL! thank goodness tomorrow is the last home game. no energy todayI've finally gotten off caffeine today and am dead-tired. Wow. What an addict I am. I did get a little desk stuff done. PODA for the rest of the day: -buy a few groceries (not much) Hi Flyfriends!!Hi girls!! I'm just gonna jump right back in and tell you that I am certainly not doing well flying over here without you guys! I decided today to get back on the wagon and we have had a great day. I tried to catch up quick- Quick Hi's to everyone My belly has grown huge- I barely am fitting in my maternity clothes- the baby weighs 6lbs 1oz according to the high risk guy. I wonder if those things are really accurate. Alexa was 7lb 1 oz and 3 weeks early so who knows. Its been a bit crazy since I go to both doctors once a week but everything is good so its worth it. heres a quick tada from today: at 34 weeksThey are often inaccurate. Not always, but it's not like early on when they are very close. So you are right. Good Morning! Jackie-glad toGood Morning! Jackie-glad to hear that things are going well, good to see you posting again. PODA Super high winds last night but the yard doesn't look like it sustained ny damage and best of all,we didn't lose power which we almost always do. TGIF ALL....... Heidi It's COLD! Ok, I know,It's COLD! Ok, I know, some of y'all are really cold. It's 20 here right now. High will be about 40. And tomorrow 30% chance of snow. PLEASE oh PLEASE let it snow. Or rain. Or ice. SOMETHING that is wet is all I'm asking for. 4 months since last rain. Seriously. Going to be a town day today. Shelby brought home a surprise from school yesterday: Two baby chicks. I've never had chicks or fowl of any sort, so I'm going to the feed store to get whatever I need, I guess. Also groceries. Out of milk, bread, yogurts and WW meals (and of course will pick up a few other things while I'm there). Heidi, wind is just a given here anymore. Glad it didn't damage your yard. ![]() wind dayHey Everyone - We have a "wind day" here today - very cold too.
