I like doing the laundry. It's one of those tasks that makes me feel like I'm really taking care of my family.
I do NOT like dirty clothes being scattered around the house, though, as if it is my job to collect them all for laundry day. The one that gets me almost crazy is my husband's dirty socks. When he gets home from work at night, he takes his shoes and socks off right by the front door and puts on his slippers. Somehow, his socks never make it up to the hamper. At this moment, there are about six pairs of dirty socks by the front door. Today is laundry day and he knows it. Those dirty socks are staying right where they are.
