Shows What My Opinion Is Worth

One of the more negative product reviews on this site is my review of the Black & Decker Kitchen Scrubber, which frankly is a waste of batteries. So what's my #1 best-selling item at Amazon in the last four months? You guessed it. I thought maybe sales would slack after Christmas but no. Oh well, I get commission on it so I'm not complaining THAT much...

It's a Love/Hate Thing

Lynn,

Two Christmases ago my sister gave us each one of the rechargable (sp?) models. I brisquely informed her that my bathroom fixtures are all fiberglass so I wouldn't have much use for the obviously domestic device. I thought her gift was rather rude! (Hmmpf)

I kept it and was right, I don't use it for bathroom scrubbing. But, I love the cone-shaped brush attachment for scrubbing the grime out from between the spokes of my polished chrome car wheels! The softer scrubbers are really great for getting the bugs off the grill and headlights. And, I used the rotating hard brush to scrub down the front door and window shutters.

Maybe it's a "think outside the box before you can love it" thing!?! LOL

Ultimate Scrubber

I have the infomercial brand of the Black and Decker. It works pretty good, but I actually bought it for DH since he is the homemaker at home and with his muscles being what they are, it helps. Nothing beats good ol elbow grease I suppose.

There are two versions

Submitted by Lynn on Thu, 01/12/2006 - 10:37am.

There's a kitchen version, which is what I reviewed, and a more hardcore version, which I think is what you have, Lisa. The kitchen version is worthless. It won't scrub anything out of anything. And we HAVE tried it on things other than the kitchen! Smiling I'm glad there's a better version out there, maybe I should point people at it.

And witchiepoo, it IS hilarious, that's why I posted it. I shake my head and laugh every time I check my Amazon stats. Smiling

...did you ever get around to putting a link for me and the other Brits, so you get commission if we buy from Amazon UK?

I do buy from them quite often, so would be pleased to use a link here and help out TNH Smiling
