It seemed like a good idea at the time

In hindsight(hindsight makes me feel stupid and thus cranky), I should have known I'd pay someday. I feel like a victim today. I have a few excuses at the ready.

1.)I did not have *any* christmas decorations, or tree last year as we were painting the old house and prepping for the real estate market.
2.)I was having the entire extended family for christmas dinner this year and wanted the new house to be festive.
3.)I was sick the last week in Nov and first week in December and confined to home. I was bored and had the time to get all Christmas Crazy!

As a result of my idle time and overabundance of christmas enthusiasm I have a major cleanup on my hands. I've been at it for 3 days now and expect to spend a couple more dealing with it.

I'm blaming the fact that I ended up with 15 trees on blocked sinus. I could not have been thinking clearly, even if it was a good sale. A lack of oxygen to the brain or something. Granted several of these trees are no more than 2 1/2 feet, but they still have to be dismantled and stored. Yes, I decorated eight of them...sigh.

Yup, I must have been totally bored to decorate my bed. Headboards and endboards are quite festive with fir garland, lights, ribbon, berries and apples.

Right-o....the bathrooms got dollied up for the season and I'm not sure why Puzzled .

Not a single room in the house escaped other than DH's workshop and the furnace room. Even the porch needs a packup.

Yesiree, I paying for it all now. Sure do hope I don't get sick again next year Big grin .
