this is a tentative step towards reclaiming our decluttering thread for the new year, but I know I for one need to organise a whole lot more than a bit of clutter. For me personally this hasn't really been the year I could expect to get it all together. I've moved my family halfway back round the world, bought a house, dealt with at least 3mths of sickies and still survived Christmas. Next year I'd like to feel like I'm a bit more in control, that I'm choosing at least some of the directions we take. Better use of the space we now have is one aspect of that - that clutter builds up FAST! Conscious life choices is probably another. I'm happy to be volunteering at my kids' school, but what am I doing with the rest of my time?? Am I simply going to run round like a headless chicken getting groceries and doing the school run and housework and cooking, or am I going to make the time to do something constructive for me and my family??
I know there's quite a few of us who need some kind of regular place to pop in and do a little victory dance or commiserate with others, but without being up to the level of the Flybabies. Without Hope to push us along we seem to have lost the will to keep ourselves going. So does anyone have any suggestions on the title and/or content of a new thread which might support those of us who want to do something more with the coming year, but aren't comfortable being part of the Flybaby thread??
let me know what you think, or whether you'd rather stick with the apathy that has characterised the latter half of this year!
Kerri.
