Hi

Hi guys -

Hope that dust goes away soon Jenny! Yuk!

Feeling better Lois?

Thanks for the advice Jamie Lea - I am still working at it! No luck yet...

Well I reclaimed my house today! Feels good, though tit was a lot of work. Wanted to scrapbook, but didn't, besides gettting my album out.

See you tomorrow - DD is calling!

Happy 2006 TNHers!

Hope everyone is having a safe and great day! I got all the decorations down and put away yay! DD spent the night at a friends house where they partied (no alcohol!!) till the wee hours of the morn! The parents of the girl took everyone's keys so no one would be out driving late. They had a blast playing video games and eating junk food. Me? I was doing accounting homework and drinking a mudslide at the stroke of midnight LOL!

Becky's picture

Happy new year!

I got a lot done yesterday, out with the old, in with the new, etc. See you soon!

Lovely Weekend

Hope your was too.

I had the house all beautiful and now.....Ah well, the price we pay for actually all being home together awake for more than a few minutes. I'll pay that price. Smiling

TADA
made it through the Christmas bustle intact
treadmill on Christams Eve and today
made the kids really happy with their gifts
relaxed and enjoyed one another for a full day and a half!

PODA
dishes
laundry
fling and de-clutter LR
groceries
dinner: latkes with applesauce or sour cream and salad

The DSs are having some friends come over for a paintball battle complete with snow forts.

DD has been very into listening to chapter books lately. She got an American Girls Felicity doll from her cousin and it comes with a book book, so last night we read that. I sense a Colonial America homeschooling theme coming on! I think she will spend the Amazon GC she got from her aunt on the other books in the series.

I got a bath and body works coconut-lime-verbena set and I can't stop smelling myself! Laughing out loud

Have a great day everyone-especially you and DH Rose!

Happy Chanukah!

We had a lot of fun yesterday-- played Scrabble, watched Charlie Brown Christmas, and all kinds of things.

Vonnie, I'm glad you had such a great Christmas!

Lois, that music is... well... um... uh... wow. I'm at a loss. Wow.

Jo, I had a candle with that scent! Smelled GOOD. We're doing the latke-and-doughnut thing tomorrow night.

Rose, I think I forgot to congratulate you for being together with your DH!

Today is the day I get REALLY serious on my Ph.D. application. UGH. Also I have to make some general phone calls and do office-type stuff.

jennye's picture

It looks like the tree

It looks like the tree threwup in here! ACK!!! It's horrible!!

Jo, my daughters LOVE American Girl! We have the little Samantha doll, and the big Kirsten one. My DD8 reads through one of the books in a night, so I don't buy them. But the library at school has all of each series, so I'm saving money that way. She just reads thru them so fast, I'm trying to encourage more library than buying these days (though she got a ton of books for Christmas! And a whole set of old Nancy Drews, too!). They are American Girl crazy, not only the classic dolls, but they have a bunch of the American Girl stuff from Bath and Body works, and got a subscription to the magazine, too.

Becky, Good luck getting thru that application! Yikes!

Well, we had a great Christmas here. But it still never really felt like Christmas. Not sure if it was the fire or what, but DH and I were just never in the holiday mood this year. I'm thinking about taking down my decorations today, I'm tired of looking at them (and the tree took the spot for Drew's baby swing anyway). I want my house back. I've been busy making lists of goals and todo's for the coming year. And I still need to do my cards! LOL! Hopefully, I'll have a tada later.

Good afternoon

Good afternoon, Ladies.

Well, we survived Christmas. Happy Hannukah to those who celebrate. Happy Kwanza to those who celebrate.

Unmotivated!

That is the single best way to describe me right now. I have to return to the office in the morning after being off for four days - UGH! I wish I could call in, but I have several things to do this week before the year ends. I am behind on a deadline, but I won't make it by Friday so I'm not sweating it right now.

My house is better than when I woke up. DH promised he would clean and organize DD's playroom and put her new toys in it. Well, he is really slow. Thorough, but slow. So it is only partially done and he had to go work at the gift shop all day today. So, I got all of the gift bags and boxes folded flat and put back in the storage boxes. They are ready to go back to storage. Also took out about 8 bags of trash and put in DH's truck to put in work dumpster. Other than four loads of laundry, that's it for house stuff today. Still have tons of toys sitting out, along with DD's Jeep cherokee. It's so wet out that we haven't gotten it outside yet.

I took DH his cell phone at the store, we ate with him. Then I went to the mall to get makeup (I was totally out of foundation -- had to put moisturizer in it and shake for all I was worth to get enough out to go out in public) and to Victoria's Secret for undies. I got a $25 gift card for Christmas. I forgot my $10 off card at home. Well, I forgot to get some earring back replacements for DD while there so tonight I'm gonna let DH take DD with him to Target while I take my clothes back to Penney's at the mall and I'm gonna go get some more undies with my $10 card and then to get the earring backs.

Whew! What a run-on sentece! Sorry.

I truly dread returning to work tomorrow. It will probably be really busy. At least DD will be home with DH so I'm not rushed to leave by a certain time in order to pick her up. That takes some pressure off. And I'm not going to bust my rear to get there at 8 or before like I usually do. I don't sound like a very good employee, do I? I'm just really unmotivated at this time of year & unfortunately it's my busiest time of year!

Well, I'm gonna run. I want to get a few more things done before DH gets home. Cya!

monday

It was a great Christmas for our family. I'm with the rest of you all who are ready to take down the decor and get my house back in shape. I love the Christmas decor before Christmas, but afterwards I seem to see clutter from it all.

My laptop computer is dying. The computer guy was able to help me download all my documents and pictures to an external hard drive that I had to purchase at Sam's on Friday. A word to the wise, burn copies of your photos and important files before it's too late. I was in quite a panic when I thought I'd have no pictures from the past 3 years. Dh has said I can get a new laptop for my birthday next month. I'm a little hesitant, since we bought one for him for Christmas. I'm currently using the old desktop we have in the basement. It's very slow, but functional.

DD is almost healthy (we're guessing it must have been strep not mono). If the campus is open, we will make a trip up to Purdue to clean her dorm room later this week. Her room-mate from last year who's been co-oping in Houston will be moving in on the 7th of January. DD would like the room nice for her return and clean and tidy for the new semester. (And definitely wants mom/dad's help Smiling )

Not much TADA
shopping and returns
lunch out with family
leftover spaghetti for supper
cleaned up the dishes and counters

Happy Hannukah to those who are celebrating.

p.s. what's with the centering format???

Hi Shaun! It's so great to hear from you! Smiling

Andrea, I have to laugh about your comment about dinner because I have been craving Thai food but no one in the house will eat it but me. They will just have to suck it up and deal tonight cause I'm the cook and that's what I want! Evil

See Ya!

Morning

I ended up with two extra teenage boys most of yesterday and overnight, and they have destroyed my house. So, I left early and came into the office! I will call and instruct them to clean it up before I come back. Arg.

It's a good thing I'm here too, because I really need to get my rear in gear in here. I have a ton of filing to do, invoices to finalize and print, my desk and the floor need a good cleaning, and I have homeschooling stuff to organize. I have some good music blasting, and am going to get to it!

TADA
noting other than a good night's sleep

PODA
Office:
file
sweep office floor
mop office floor
clean off my desk
invoices
homeschooling crate
Home:
dishes
re-boot laundry
fold the clean laundry DH stuffed in a basket
fling in the LR
put beautiful new tablecloth on the table
bake DD's paint it yourself vases
put my new bed skirt on the bed
treadmill
dinner: red curry pork with pineapple and green beans on green chili jasmine rice

The latkes turned out soooooo yummy last night. The kids were vultures hovering and snatching them as they cam out of the pan.

Susan, I'm glad DD is feeling better, mono is no fun.

Lois, I agree! Tacky can be very fun.

Becky, how's the app coming? Paperwork. Bah.

Jenny, DD hasn't put the doll down since Christmas Eve. And she loves the book. In the box was a bath and body works coupon for a free little lotion. We have to go to the mall tomorrow and I think we'll pick it up then. I love their book The Care and Keeping of You and the other one about Friendship.

Vonnie, I'n not feeling too motivated either! I would rather just sit in my chair, drink tea, and read. Oh well, such is life.

Better go get to it! See Ya,
-Jo

jennye's picture

Jo, DD8 also got the

Jo, DD8 also got the American Girl B&BWorks Shampoo and it smells gooood (it smells like Salon Selectives before they changed it a few years ago. I miss that smell). I got her the Care and Keeping of You (I can't wait to read that one myself), and she already had the book on Hair (how to care for your hair and different style ideas). I'll have to look for that Friendship one. I think it's great there are finally dolls and books that are so positive influences, rather than Barbies and Bratz dolls. I can't stand Bratz!!

Susan, sorry about the computer! Ugh! I backed up everything right after the fire. I gave MIL copies of the pictures CDs, in case I ever lose my computer and my copies.

I managed to retake the living room a little. Now it just looks like spitup rather than throw up. LOL! Did a couple loads of laundry. DH went out and bought a motorized RotorRooter and fixed my kitchen sink. A few minutes later, the power went out and I was back to no water at 4:55! Turned out it was only us, some hunters decided to use a transformer as target practice.

I may take down the decorations today. I was thinking about going to town and getting a few of those big plastic tubs to start storing it all in (instead of cardboard boxes), but there is a sand storm blowing and gusts up to 50 MPH, I'm not leaving the house!!

Howdy All!

I had such an unusual morning I had to finally check in with you guys! I put the girls in front of the new Cinderella DVD and plopped myself on the sofa to watch a rerun of the premiere episode of Martha, complete with a hot cup of coffee and a couple of Godiva chocolates from Christmas. Ahhhhhhh . . . .

So I hope everyone is doing OK. It will take a while for me to catch up. I won't even get into what's been going on around this place. But we are doing OK now.

I do have Christmas cards written, sealed, and addressed for all TNHers on the list. Now if I could just get out for those stampls . . . See, when you're Catholic Christmas only starts on the 25th and it goes til the 6th, so I'm still not late! It was so fun to get the cards and see all those great photos.

My DD6 also got an American Girl doll, Kaya, the Nez Perce. She is beautiful! I knew my mom would get her that one -- she lives in the Black Hills and loves all things Native American. I was kind of pushing for Elizabeth or Felicity, but hey, I wasn't paying for it! We got the full box set of Kaya books too. But DD6 is totally enamored with her Furby. (I wanted to put the kibosh on that, but DH wanted a Furby too!)

Rose, I didn't know your DH would be home for Xmas! Hurrah for you!

Looking forward to catching up with everyone else's news. (On that note, is Susannah on hiatus?)

Happy Holidays! (Not being mealy-mouthed, just concise.)
Shaun

Hi

Ah, that's sweet Marlene. Hopefully my DD will want to save her special dolls.

Jol I love, love, love Thai food - esp. the spicy stuff. I had Thai chicken pizza at Applebee's today for lunch - it is an appetizer and not authentic but still yummy! You are cranking by the way!

Did a Zone today and laundry. Took kiddos and a friend to the Science Museum - www.rmsc.org if you want to check it out. It is a great place! Now just trying to figure out this blasted camcorder!

See ya later -

Warm weather, Decorations Down!!!

Well, I saw the neighbor taking down his Christmas lights and thought I'd do the same. It is in the 50's today and due to start raining tomorrow and then get cold again. So I'm taking advantage of the mild temps to get the outside items put away. I am leaving the live wreath on the front and back door. They will go in the trash a week from Thursday (Friday is pick-up day). Yea, for the start of reclaiming the house again.

Wow Jo, I'm impressed with your TADA. My DD loved Kirsten (must be our scandinavian heritage or the blonde and blue eyes resemblence)

Nice to see you stopping by Shaun.

Jamilea, you've been busy too. I need to change our sheets too. DS did his yesterday. Sometimes it's great having teenagers Smiling

Hi Andrea, Hi Andrea Smiling

Hey Jenny, forgot to tell you how cute Drew's pictures were, I especially like the B&W.

Well, time to get back to work. DD may be having friends over tomorrow.

Romper room hellos to all,

A small TADA:
I got the Christmas cards addressed! Now for return addresses, sealing and stamping. Also finished up Thank You notes for baby gifts. Finished some end of the year stuff on the books/Quicken. Found much of the top fo the desk. And rewarded myself with a little bit of Playstation 2 (Harry Potter #3. Hey, DH and the kids have been on it for two days and nights, it was finally MY turn!!).

More on AG stuff. DD6 has a AG Bitty Baby. One of her gifts was a matching nightie for herself. I don't think they will get another doll anytime soon, though. I won't buy them, too darn expensive!! But it's fine if Grandama wants to. LOL!

Shaun, nice to see you!

And if you haven't seen them, you do have to check out Drew's pictures that Susan mentioned. Really, he is cuter than the Gerber baby!! Of course, I'm the mom, too. LOL!

ACK! I've lost a gift card!! Drew got a $15 gift card from my stepbrother and I can't find it!! Good thing I haven't throw out all the trash full of boxes and wrapping paper yet. Guess what I'm doing today. LOL!

Chance is sick. I think. He acts like Chance, runs around, terrorizes his sisters, etc. Just every now and then, he stops, throws up, and is back at it.

Didn't get my cards mailed yet. LOL! I can't get out to the mailbox before the maillady gets there at 9am. But I have to go to town tomorrow, so maybe I'll just take them by the post office. Need to make lists today of what I need to do in town tomorrow.

Time to feed Drew!!

Andrea's picture

tact

YOu are so tactful Lois! Yes he is cute Jenny!

Good luck finding the gift card. I lost $113.00 in cash in the school dumpster a few weeks back (scouting fundraising money from wreath sales). I dug through it with a ocuple of other ladies and we actually found it! Yuk!

Well, making progress today, but need to keep on plugging. Having guests tonite.
Andrea

FOUND IT!!

I went thru 3 bags of trash, took a break to feed Drew, and found it next to my recliner. I'm so glad the trash I had gone thru was just paper and boxes, not the kitchen! LOL!

Shaun's picture

Whew!

I hate it when that happens, Jenny.

I've been busy cleaning and making king cakes today. Of course the girls have been busy making more messes. DD6 just came to inform me that she needed a sack for packing food so she took one of the pillowcases off one of the sofa pillows! And DD2 peed on another of them earlier today . . .

I have $50 in toy gift cards that we received around the time of our fire. We may never find them!

My king cake dough is nearly done rising (I have to make 9 more for a church thing) so I'd better go check on it.

jamielea's picture

Good Afternoon

Just a quick post, it's about time to leave for football practice.

Glad you found the gift card Jenny.

Andrea, I dug threw the trash like that when I was in high school, I threw my retainer away and I knew if I didn't find it my mom would kill me! I didn't find it and well obviously she didn't KILL me but it was scary there for a while! Laughing out loud

Oh Jenny, Drew is so gorgeous!

Jamielea, DD has a dress-up area in her room and that gets so much use. Savannah will love it.

Shaun, what are King Cakes? Sounds interesting.

Susan, I know what you mean about reclaiming the house, one of the jobs I left for the boys is to un-decorate the tree.

Where's Heidi?

My DSs bought a Playstation yesterday with their Christmas money from MIL/FIL and two aunts. We've never had any type of game station, and I'm not sure how I feel about it. DS15 was angry because I wouldn't let him get games rated M. They did play together peacefully for a couple hours yesterday, so I guess I can feel good about that anyway. They hooked it up in DS15's room, he has a small TV he bought in there and also a couch MIL threw away which has 2 recliners in it. So now it's gaming central up there.

Better go be productive. I'm feeling pretty SLUGgish today. Smiling

Bye,

King Cakes

King Cakes are associated with Mardi Gras. Epiphany officially kicks of the Mardi Gras season, so many people have parties on that day with a King Cake. Inside the cake is hidden a tiny plastic baby. One lucky person gets the baby in his/her slice. That person gets good luck for the year -- and has to host next year's party! (Alternately, that person is king of the party.) Of course the cake is meant to suggest the Wise Men/Three Kings' search for Jesus, hence the name of the cake. You decorate it with yellow, green, and purple frosting -- they stand for justice, faith, and courage maybe? It's like a coffee cake, like making cinnamon rolls but instead of chopping the dough log into buns you twist it and make an oval.

My church is doing a "parable of the talents" fundraiser -- giving out $20 and asking people to see what they can do with it. This is my project -- and next year I will charge much more per cake!!

Lots of errands today: work, grocery store, dentist, drop off present. Oh, and pick up stamps for TNH cards!!

Have a great day everyone!

Fly....what????

If you could see my house. I got a digital camera for Christmas and I really thought about posting pictures of the room I am tackling at the moment, the office. But then I was too ashamed!

I have got to get back into flying. I am spending to much time cleaning on the weekends or my days off. I would rather be doing something else.

So back on the wagon I jump. Please someone seat belt me in this time! Smiling

Office 101. I can see the desk now. I have STACKS and STACKS of papers. Some need to be filed, bills and important stuff, kids school papers, crap, and more crap, magazines, recipes..............I want to spend today and some of tomorrow getting a system in here. Wrapping up the end of the year and starting off fresh for 06. Ummmm, did I say this the same time last year???? Probably so!

Hi Everyone - Wow Jana -

Hi Everyone -

Wow Jana - good job! I have trouble getting rid of mags too - dumped about 8 years of Bon Appetit and Gourmet a few years back - that was hard! Then REal Simple about a year ago and now I have a pile of beautiful Wegmans mags - a regional grocery here that is fantastic. I may just keep those Eye-wink All the recipes are online of course. Your dinner sounds right up my alley! Yum.

Hey Shaun - glad you are posting again. I have heard of King Cakes. I like the 20 talents idea - no idea what I would do though!

Jo, we got DS9 a PS2 for his bday on 12/21. I have fought it for years and the deal was when he learned to read and read well, we would consider it. Well... that day has come. He has tested the limits already, asking for rated T games but I won't cave. He and DD7 are enjoying playing it together, like you said. I think the guidelines are key.

Hey Jamie Lea - watched your videos - great! Funny retainer story - I hate digging through garbage.

Good day today - no shopping! DH made dinner! I mopped floor and did a Zone. Gosh, those 15 minutes a day help my state of mind so much! I have known that for years, just need to practice it. Finished organizing my pantry today. Got an estimate for a water system - ouch! Not sure we will do it. Took the cat to a groomer to get his claws clipped - she did it much more easily than I can!

I don't know if anyone saw my other thread about burning DVDs. I cannot figure this out! Does anyone do this? Jamie Lea, it seems like you are getting pretty adept with the video!

I'm off - see you tomorrow ladies!

Snow!

Yay, we have a fresh coating of white. This warm weather was killing my winter buzz.

Since winter vacation is coming to an end, we're playing today: coffee with friends, then tonight -- WATER PARK! (Yes, I am shouting.) We're staying at a water park hotel for the night. We're all so excited! Saturday night we rest and get ready for our New Year's Day mini-open house. Monday a sledding party, and then Tuesday, back to school. Whew!

Gotta go watch the kiddies. Have a great day!

jennye's picture

I'm so jealous of your

I'm so jealous of your snow!! We need precip so bad, it ain't even funny!!

We got a Playstation 2 for Christmas, too. DH has played on it the most. The girls got a Barbie game for it (something about riding horses). And a Harry Potter game, which I'm enjoying. On the 2 brief occasions I've gotten to play. No time for mommy to play!!

Hey, I finally got my Christmas cards and Thank you notes mailed!! Uh, I wanted to avoid the card rush in the post office. yeah, that's it. That's the ticket!! LOL!

I was in town all day yesterday. Drew had a checkup for his one month milestones. He weighs 12lb 8oz and 23 3/4 inches long (yes, he has gained over 3 pounds and nearly 3 inches since birth!!). I's got good titty milk!! LOL! Also got some stuff exchanged, groceries. And a cousin of DH's just opened up a store on Main St. in town that sells used kids stuff. I got a bassinet for Drew (for some reason, I'm paranoid of SIDS this time and want him pretty close, but really don't want him in bed with us because DH is afraid he will roll over him).

I'm going to spend the day catching up again. I have BAGS of trash everywhere full of paper and boxes, a couple in the laundry room with kitchen trash (I don't want to put them right out in the truck to haul off because the dog and cats jump in there and tear thru it, making a HUGE mess!), and DH bitches when I put it out in the garage. All Christmas stuff is down and I need to put the boxes away from that. A load or two of laundry. Most of all, my desk!!! both desks.

2 loads laundry
3.5 miles
dishes
took DS13 to his b-ball practice
filled the van with gas-ouch.

PODA
get the tree out
sweep
pick up DS from b-ball
2 more loads laundry
re-boot dishes
groceries
go to the bank
hang out with in-laws
something yummy for dinner

DS made me a treadmill CD and it made the time pass so quickly! It's also great cross-training because I put it on random and walked or ran with the beat, so the pace was constantly varied.

Jana, I have to confess I just can't seem to throw away magazines. I have a bookshelf downstairs with years each of Family Fun, Martha Stewart Living, Cook's Illustrated, Bon Appetit, Mothering, Smithsonian, National Geographic....It's an illness, I know. Once I did go through about a year's worth of Family Fun, ripped out pages I wanted to save and put those in a file.

Jenny, our pediatrician always referred to my breastmilk as "high-test" and I always thought that was hysterical.

Have a good one friends!
-Jo

Good Morning

Jana, Way to go!

Andrea, I don't have a clue about burning DVD's, Dh burns ours, he got a DVD/DVR for Christmas and before that he did it on his computer. The video clips on my blog were taken with my regular digital camera and the site I used to host it at is so simple Trey could do it... Sorry I can't help. If you've got a specific question I can ask DH and he might know. Smiling

Quick TADA and PODA (Savannah's getting fussy)

Good Morning!

Morning Guys -

Trying to get in a little quiet time, though DD is already up!

Jamie Lea - would you mind asking him what software he used to his on the computer to burn DVDs?

Hi Jo - that's great that you have music to work out to - it does help I think.

Jenny, sounds like Drew is doing great! Congratulations!

Well, not sure what my PODA is yet. Maybe decluttering some Xmas stuff, exercise. We are going very low key tonite maybe watch a movie and order pizza - exciting I know Smiling

Have a good day guys -

Andrea

DH said that normally when you buy a DVD burner for your computer that it comes with some kind of software. He used Microsoft movie maker and EZ-CD maker (which also burns DVD's) I hope that helps a little? Smiling

We're about to head out to look for shoes for Trey to wear for football and Savannah's outgrown hers as well.

I did a pretty good job finishing my PODA yesterday Smiling

*ordered Trey's pizza and picked up his sticker for book it
*took down the tree in the dinning room
*color coded the branches for easier assembly next year (it's 8 years old and the original colors have worn off)
*stored and labeled all the decorations for that tree
*took down the mantel and stair case
*stored and labeled those together
*took down the tree in Savannah's room, stored and labeled
*took down the tree in my room, stored (it has no decorations, thank goodness!)
*swept and mopped the kitchen and dinning room which are now Christmas decor free
*vacuumed downstairs
*cleaned half bath (stored the small tree that was in there)
*2 loads of laundry
Smiling

I've still got the tree in Trey's room and the tree in the front living room to take down but I'll take them down Monday or so. Hope you all have a wonderful and safe New Years Eve. Smiling

Happy New Year's Eve!

Yesterday I went on a day-long birding trip.

Today I am making soup for our Soup-Tasting Party tonight.

Ugh

Stayed up too late -- around 2 a.m. No drinking --but just wound up from party-game playing until midnight. Clean stuff at church. Now I am drinking a Starbucks double-shot with a coffee chaser to wake up for church.

Happy New Year!

We partied late as well. We started at a 60th wedding anniversary, then went on to a party at some friends of the inlaws. I had a strawberry margarita early on, then stuck to cokes and water the rest of the night. Drew was colicky, some of the adults amused me with their drunkeness. LOL! And all the kids had a ball with a ton of confetti throwing firecracker things, which every time one went off, Chance yelled, "yayyyyyyy!!!!!".

Yesterday I had all intentions of going to church today, but getting in so late, I knew the kids needed their beauty rest (as did I, since I was still operating on the 4 hours I got the night before thanks to Drew). Even if we did get enough rest, one look outside threw that out the window. Dust storm today. I can't see the corrals behind the house or the dirt road in front. I know the highway will be worse, may even be closed. So home we are. I can smell nothing but the dust. Bleh. Sustained winds are 42 MPH right now, and it's gusting to 57 at the moment. Not even safe to go out. It's blowing so bad, it looks like a dark storm cloud blocking out the sun with the wind bringing in the burned out ash from the fires.

I do need to venture to the inlaws this afternoon if it dies down. The girls are supposed to spend the night tonight. School starts Tuesday. Hopefully they will get to go (to inlaws. They will go to school).

Not sure what the day will bring. DH will be in all day (great, him with cabin fever will be lovely. NOT!!). Maybe I'll just piddle around.

I don't have a centering format

Like Lynn, I use Safari and Mozilla on Mac. She might not know about it, so I guess send her a post when she's around more.

American Girl Dolls

I love those dolls! When DD was younger, we lived in the world of AG. She gave up her Barbies for AG! (Thank goodness Bratz weren't invented yet!)I know we have every book they made at the time, they are packed away somewhere! I ordered her the Just Like You doll, with the blonde hair and blue eyes (like her!). She cherished that doll!!! We ended up buying her a wooden case from Target that fit the doll and she even had homemade clothes that we bought at a craft show. She is now safely put away for hopefully someday a granddaughter Smiling
