Got a lot done last week! I'm not even going to try to catch up with posts, starting fresh. We went out of town Thursday, so I have some post travel clean up to do today. Happy Halloween!

I'm going to do the weekly blessing (really, I am!!). Though I took care of mopping and trash yesterday. Got a load of laundry to do, thanks to Chance. grr. LOL!

Jenny, wouldn't Halloween be a fun birthday? Come on girl, dilate!
Susan, neither of my guys ( 15 and 13) are going out tonight. Sniff. Good thing I have DD5!
Jana, will it be too rainy for trick or treating? Bummer.
But unless it’s torrential we’ll still go. DH can stay home with Princess Savannah and Trey and I will take a umbrella. Tony’s going to a college party, can you believe they didn’t invite us?
Well I spent most of the weekend cleaning my bedroom, closet, sitting area/office, and bathroom. IT looks a lot better but while I was up here, they were messing up downstairs, it never ends.
We skipped the Halloween bowling party today, Dh is working from home so Trey wanted to stay here.
Hello and Happy Halloween to everyone. Yall be safe tonight.
We like to watch a Halloween type movie and eat Halloween fare but are not big on the trick or treating. The boys are gearing up for All Saint's Day tomorrow at school so that has them occupied. DS4 will be St. George, he slayed a dragon! They took pumpkins to school today and they were worked into all of there school work. They weighed them, counted the ridges, learned about their history, spelled words about them and will come home tonight and carve em up!

OUr block does a potluck every Halloween and then we trick or treat as a group. While the kids trade candy, the adults decompress with some alcoholic beverages!!
Jenny-tonight would be a good night to have a baby, you can name him Jack as in Jack O lantern!
Susan-good to see you
Jo-doesn't feel good to take care of things that have been waiting on lists for a long time? Me too.
DS8 dressed up for the "Harvest Festival" at school on Friday. He was a Jedi. I gave him the option of going trick-or-treating tonight, or of going to the PX and getting a new Bionicle set. Obi-Wan-William wisely chose the latter. YES! He doesn't care for candy, anyway, and we'd have to drive somewhere to go trick-or-treating, thus leaving the house unattended. I don't think so!
Today's TADA's:
Walked dog
2 loads of laundry
front half of the lawn cut (then it started to rain)
small grocery run
successfully bribed my child with a Bionicle
Blogged extensively
Happy Halloween!
Rose
Heidi, I'm coming to YOUR neighborhood!! Whoohoo, drinking and trick or treating suits me! LOL!!
Aw, Rose, come on!! Can't believe you bribed him NOT to go TorT!!! Even if my kids didn't like the candy, I DO!! Who do you think is going to raid all the chocolate tomorrow while they are in school. hehehe. That's right, big ol' preggo me!!!
Well,we made it. The kids raked in the candy and thank goodness their school accepts extra candy to donate to social services holiday parties, etc. So that's where alot of it will go.

We had a great time last night. Did the door to door thing (which DH has never done! Growing up, they drove around to the people they knew out here in the country). He actually wore the Confederate Officer's uniform I made him last year. I put on shorts, a robe, and slippers and was "barefoot and pregnant". The girls ended up wearing their cheer uniforms, and Chance of course was the cutest Darth Vadar!! Obviously, all the walking didn't do anything about putting me in labor. Not even the Haunted House we went to. Darn.
I have to note, though. People are getting CHEAP on the candy!!! I'm a bit upset. Chance's bucket yielded 1 milky way, 1 snickers, 1 Reese's cup, and 2 M&Ms. Ok, what happened to all the good candy!! The rest was just suckers, Now or Laters, Smarties, and other cheap candy. Come on folks, so good stuff please!!!
Ok, on to flying!!
Somehow the sink is FULL of dishes. Not sure how that happened, it was clean yesterday. So I'm going to take care of that. Didn't shampoo yesterday, maybe do that. And I really want to inventory/clean the freezer. Before it warms up. And the wasps come out.
Later!
Jenny, you should have stopped by our house. We were giving out kitkats, reece's cups, and hershey bars. I also had a small bag of smarties as a back up. We probably had about 80 kids (bought candy for 100 soooo, that leaves the leftovers for us )
I stopped at Krogers this morning and bought all the leftover Hershey minatures, kisses and york patties. They were half priced. DH keeps a candy jar at both offices and they have been bare for the past few weeks. I also use the candies in holiday baking and since DH is known for his candy dish, we usually make up a assortment in a small container for his staff. Two years ago it was wire baskets, last year Christmas mugs. I'm contemplating what to use this year. We may be having a combination christmas/promotion party. That would mean alot more containers.
short TADA
1 hour on the treadmill at the YMCA
Kroger run
heated up left over minestrone for lunch
1 1/2 hour surfing the net (too long )
time to shut down this computer and take my shower
PODA
bake cookies for 3 college kids care package to send tomorrow
laundry
unload DW and reboot
find family photos for DS spanish family tree project
pull out cross stitch project
determine pattern & yarn for knitting afghan (yes I'm still trying to decide)
Hope you all had a nice Halloween
Sorry about the cheepo candy Jenny. Trey got some pretty good stuff, we gave out Butterfingers and 1000 bars (something Fred likes) plus like susan said, lots of back up candy.
We took Trey and Savannah out for about an hour and a half last night, DH followed along in the van in case it started raining. It didn't and turned out to be a very nice night.
Heidi, that's a great thing to do with the extra candy. I may see if there's something like that here.
Rose, Trey loves those Bionicle's. I don't think he's old enough for them yet though as I find the pieces all over the house. Glad you guys had a good time.
Well Trey and I had dentist appointments today, Trey has to go back Thursday to have a cavity filled The Dentist says his teeth are better than most though so I guess that's good. I allways feel so guilty about cavities, this is his 3rd one! (baby teeth but still) I bought him some of those little chewy tablets today that tell you where you missed when your brushing, we just need to do a better job, end of story.
Jamie Lea, don't look for him to grow up then and be old enough to have them. My husband STILL leaves little legos ALL OVER THE HOUSE!! And he is in his 30's!!
Wish I had been in ya'll neighborhoods. I've already taken care of all the chocolate that they had, and believe me, it wasn't much.
Susan, DH had already been to Walmart, so I didn't get a chance to ask him to buy me some half priced chocolate. Hopefully there will still be SOME left when I go to town on Friday. He DID get me my new Star Wars, though! whoohoo!! I can have happy dreams tonight filled with cute, young, almost ready to go to the darkside (and you totally understand WHY he did!!!) Anakin. Was too young in the previous Star Wars to be REALLY good looking. I'm just infatuated with him in this one! LOL! Yes, I'm horrible.
Jana, sorry about your friend. Will be thinking about ya'll today.
DH took pity on me yesterday and brought me a big ol' Milky Way!! Mmmm!!! I enjoyed it while watching my new Star Wars DVD last night (which DS3 is watching this morning. Loves Darth Vadar!!). I fixed a nice dinner from a recipe I got out of a WW cookbook, was a nice night. I got some of the freezer sorted out, found 13 packages of ground beef. Not much. But did find a few steaks, too. Didn't get a whole lots else done.
Today, will just be some laundry. Don't feel up to much, maybe I can relax for a bit. HA!!

Had a huge fight with DS15 because he wanted to go trick-or-treating with friends in the village. I don't stinking think so! He had a hissy fit, and I told him he was being incredibly immature, and it deteriorated from there. Not fun.
DS13 is playing basketball, and it's already started. Back on the practice/game rotation. Yuck.

I found a spotfree, brand name winter coat at the thrift store in DD's size and favorite color for.......$3!!!! I am psyched. It pays to wait.
Jo-did you and DS15 make up yet? Did you not want him to go trick or treating because he's too old or was it something else? Hope it works out. Back on the circuit huh? can you carpool with another family so it's not always you driving to practices and games?
Jana-thoughts are with you and your friend today
Hi everyone else...I hear the bus so I will see you all tomorrow.
It's a brisk morning here with promises to go up to 78-79! Ugh! I am ready for fall! It's November -- enough already!
I won't even try to reply to everyone's great posts here - I'm gonna just jump in. We've been scooting & shuffling along here. Yesterday was my morning at home & I accomplished: nothing. I just needed some downtime to regroup, so that's what I did. All is not lost, because my mom is picking up DD today & keeping her for 4-5 hours.
I thought I had a small wart on my finger, so I used that Freeze Away from the drugstore on it. I put a band-aid on it because I didn't want DD to see it and try to pick at it (which she is prone to do). The next morning when I took the bandaid off, there was an angry, blistery place. It is still there, pretty much unchanged since Monday. Do you gals think I should run to a doc in the box after work today & see about it? I think it's abscessing maybe. It hurts like heck, so I really would rather it just go down on it's own. Oh, well.
Today's PODA:
* Take DD to school (which she hates these days)
* Work at my office - staff meeting
* Make a grocery list & menu
* Work on workbook for our S.S. class (I'm behind on my homework)
* Whatever else comes my way!
Well, I'd better run. It's almost time to drag DD out the door. Talk to you gals later!
DH promotion to general has finally made it through the DOD and the senate (after 2 years of waiting). He received his orders yesterday. Now, to plan the pinning ceremony and party (YEA )
PODA
shower, dress and pick up before DH gets back from the Y (he's working an afternoon shift today)
maybe out for a late breakfast (to discuss the party)
print out family photos (& stranger photos-- DS needs 20+ family members (within 2 generations) for a family tree in spanish, we don't have that many, so the teacher told him to make up names and pictures, then label in spanish their relationship to student)
I'm sure there some laundry (everyday at least one load)
cross stitching project
pick up DS from school
dinner (stir-fry terriyaki chicken with veges(broccoli, mushrooms, cauliflower, peppers and onions)
Jo, must be something in the air with teenage boys. DS14 has decided that it is acceptable to talk back to his parents. We had a heated discussion yesterday. I'm sure it is part of his growing up and wanting to be independent (and always right I might add). But, in this house we will always expect respect to your elders. I think I am going to need alot of prayers to get through these next few years. DD19 was so joyful and positive and I can only remember twice in her teen years where she talked back to us. DS14 has exceeded this already!!!
Jenny, less than a week til your due date, How are you feeling????
Jamielea, has your dentist suggested sealing Trey's teeth. This might be a good choice if he is prone to cavities. Hope the dentist visit goes well.
What wonderful news. I can't remember if your husband is Active Duty or Reserve? Does this mean that your TV fast has come to an end?
Vonnie, infections on the hands are not something to "wait and see" about because there are so many nerves & capilliaries in the hand. Permanent damage can set in quite quickly - remember what happened to Rosie O'Donnell a few years ago?
JennyE - here's hoping you are well and that you will have a quick and easy delivery of a healthy baby boy. Soon, please!
Had a busy day yesterday, channelling my nervous energy. I oven-roasted the pumpkins from my garden then made a big batch of curried pumpkin soup. MMMMM! Got the back part of the lawn mowed, had a surprise visit from a friend from Germany, and drank too much coffee!! Today the laundry is hanging out on the line (weird that I can do that in November in Northern New York). Time to hop in the car and run some errands.
Susan, that's wonderful about your dh's promotion!! I remember about it a couple of years ago, didn't realize it was the SAME promotion you have been waiting on. LOL! Congrats! Can we come to the party?
Got bathrooms done yesterday, some quilting (by hand still. I can't bring myself to do it on the machine), and a couple loads of laundry. And some desk things (cheer stuff mostly).
Today, another load of laundry. Delivered notes to all cheerleaders at the school today. Got my butt chewed out by DH because he didn't like the gas I put in the 4-wheeler . I was hoping we would go to town and look at dining room sets. Now I don't think I want to be in the same truck as him. ARG! MEN!!!

The vet said that the dog's leg is healing really well so she probably won't need a cast, can just keep the splint on.
It's warm here too so I will rake some leaves and pull out remaining veg garden plants, etc I love yardwork(I know Iam strange)
Vonnie-what did the doc say about your hand? Hope it heals quickly. What's up with your DD not liking school these days?
Better get shoes and jackets on for school......
Heidi
I went to doc in the box & he said it looked OK, not infected. He froze it then punctured it and will test the fluid to make sure its OK. I am a little paranoid because a friend got a small cut on her finger, it got infected, they couldn't get it healed and she ended up having it amputated. This is my middle one, I can't afford that!
Well, my day was pretty much blown with working at my office, then running around for DH for the Merry Market tonight through Sunday, then at the doctor. I was at the dr. for 3 hours! I am tired and cranky. It's that time, too, so that doesn't help.
DD has already put her gown on and is watching Barney now. We did her phonics homework, so we're done for the night. In K-5, she has phonics homework every night except Wednesday! I'm tired of it already! Ha, ha! I've got 12 1/2 more years to go!
Well, I'm gonna run. I may fix me a cup of chamomile tea and relax.

OMG, Jackie! A really rough month!!! Glad that was all they took.
Vonnie, glad the hand is ok, ok, ok. LOL! No, you need that middle finger! Although, that could be a new statement (all but that one up. LOL!). FWIW, my SIL was bit by a rattlesnake on her hand when she was 11 MONTHS old (she was just sitting on the porch playing with the kittens when it got her). Today, that middle finger is bent down. But she still "uses" it. LOL!
The day didn't get any worse. DH and I cleaned out his truck (whoa, was it horrible!!!). Then we went to town (in my truck) to look at new trucks, just to get an idea. Well, screw that!! I can't believe how much they have gone up just in 3 years!! They wanted the same price for a plain jane one that I paid for mine with all the bells and whistles, including leather!! Uh, I don't THINK so!! So we decided he can just fix his up, and we looked at and bought a dining room set. Whoohoo!! I wasn't going to buy it on my own, I knew I would get chewed out for something! It will be delivered on Saturday afternoon!
I have a dr. appt tomorrow, but it isn't til later, so I'll be back in the morning.
I am so glad it is finally Friday! This has been one more lonnnnnnnnng week to me.
PODA:
* Laundry - get it done to free me up for the weekend
* Menu plan & grocery list (* see below)
* Work at office 8-12
* Clean house up for weekend
* I was going to SLUG the menu plan, but I didn't. I am researching about how sugar intake can exacerbate ADHD/ADD. I'm cutting DD5's sugar intake and we're going to see if that doesn't help her hyperactivity some. I'm almost done with the menus for this.
Well, I need to run and get my shower. Talk to you gals later!
Actually, Rose, US election day is usually the 2nd Tuesday of November (which would be November 8th).
Ya'll don't look for this baby anytime in the next week. I'm still sayin' the 18th, even though I'm due the 9th. I dreamed last night though that he was born and had green eyes (Like Grammie) and red hair (which would cause a divorce, because NO ONE in EITHER of our families has red hair!!!)
Sugar. I need some sugar. Chocolate. Mmmmm... Think I'll at least go have a coke for breakfast! FWIW, I do limit my kids' sugar intake. Chance gets whatever is already in his oatmeal in the morning. He seldom has any candy unless we go somewhere (because people like to give him suckers. He knows where the secretary at school keeps her stash. LOL!). And whatever is in his yogurt (which is always the Strawberry Walmart brand, he eats one or two a day. The kid LOVES yogurt!!).
I've got a dr. appt after noon today. And I will go to the grocery while in town. DH is hopefully going to watch Chance if he gets a break from baling (I hope so. They are going to check my cervix and that will not be fun with him!!). DH left at 3am I think (hey, I was sleeping!!). I need to make a menu and grocery list, burn a CD I borrowed from the cheer coach with our dance songs for cheer routines. Other than that, not a whole lot planned. Maybe a load of laundry.
Vonnie, I'm sorry about the finger-- glad it wasn't serious!
Susan, congratulations on DH's promotion!
Jackie, I'm sorry your house was burglarized.
Hello everyone else.
I've been feeling apathetic and having trouble posting. A therapist suggested antidepressants but I'm going to wait for my next GI appointment and see if he wants to put me on (yuck) steroids, because then it would be less a question of lifting my spirits and more a question of peeling me off the ceiling.
No class today, though. That cheers me up!

-straighten up front entrance (zone!)
-put away Halloween decorations and put out Thanksgiving decorations

My hair is now a chocolate brown and I like it. Anything that covers the grays that have been multiplying is fine with me!
Susan-yes,do spill the details of your Marthaesque party.LOL. Best wishes to your DH
Jackie-how freaky! Time to get a watchdog, huh? At least you all are safe, they just wanted some quick cash.
Jenny-start doing those cheers and then I bet you'll give me a L,give me an A,give me a B,give me anO,give me an R
Glad you got your dining set, what's it look like?
Becky-sorry you're feeling down. *HUGS* What kind of sweater are you making for DH?
Well, better order pizza before the place starts to get busy....
Heidi - yum pizza! I'm getting a cut and color tomorrow too - sorely needed. My roots are coming in gray.
Jackie - I am so sorry to hear about the incident. Turn your alarm system on!!
Becky - I am sorry you are feeling down -s be gentle with yourself - you have been through a lot and very busy on top of it all - both you and your DH!
Jenny, we are waiting... I'm joking, of course you have no control, but we are impatient!!!!!!!
Rose and Vonnie = let me know how your diet experiments go. I have read that none of the dietary changes really affect ADD much, but there is lots of anecdotal evidence.
Well, I've had a busy week of work and kids and parents and etc. I had PT conference for both of my kiddos - went well. They have really good teachers, esp. DS8 - she is in her 60s with no plans to retire - lives with a 45 year old man - you go girl!!!
My parents leave on Monday - we are hiking with them tomorrow and they will stay with us Sun, nite before leaving for Montana.
By the way, I am trying to fly... cleaned a br and DH vaced kitchen and scrubbed stovetop.
No flying today. Except the one load of laundry that isn't folded, but at least washed and dried.
Dr. didn't check my cervix, thank goodness, but all was well. Come back next week. Walmart was fine. Went to wash my truck, ended up with a flattire and the machine to wash never worked. Yeah, I was pissed. There is a garage shop next door to the carwash and I managed to get two nice guys to help me change the tire (actually, they did all the work!!). Yeah, I could have done it on my own, but I was in a hurry to pick the kids up from school and I might as well use this pregnancy while I still got it! LOL! I now am on a mission to find out who owns that carwash now and get them to at least give me my money back on the wash, and hopefully get them to pay for my tire. Unfortunatly, there was no phone number ANYWHERE at the carwash to call anything, so it may be a small challenge.
It's 8:30 and I wanna go to bed!!! Ok, ain't gonna happen. No way Chance is going to go for it. LOL! And DH will have to be ready to leave anytime between now and morning to go bale hay (he went at 3:30 this morning).
Becky, I'm really sorry your feeling down. Hope you get a pick me up soon!!
Just checkin in and sayin hi this AM. Got to go to Walmart and clean up around here. Been kinda crazy with work and school but all is well, been trying to keep up reading with you gals. I get a 2 week break from school about the middle of the month so I hope to write some more then.
Luv,
M

DD and I had a sleepover at DSIL's house with her DD5 last night. It is the first day of deer season here and everyone else was gone to camp for the night. It was fun, but I had too much wine.
It was a busy week, with another ahead.
Heidi, believe it or not, I do carpool! And even so I spend this much time on the road. Yikes! And the reason I didn't want DS to go trick or treating is because the teenagers do stupid things, like egg cars and so on. He didn't even have a costume! Red flag.
Vonnie, glad the finger is ok.
Becky, I'm so sorry you're having a rough time. I hope things seem brighter soon.
Susan, congrats on the promotion! How exciting. And as for the teenage boys I have been getting compliments on DS15 from random people, like the receptionist at the dentist yeaterday. My pediatrician once said that anti-social behavior by teenagers at home is great because they are showing that they recognize home as a safe space. The same type of behavior with "the public" is a sign of trouble, so I try to remember this and take it to heart, especially now that DS13, my sweet, good-natured, mellow baby is starting in too.
Jackie, how scary! I would be totally freaked out.
Jenny, come on now, we're waiting!
Hi Rose! We're enjoying strange weather right now too. It was almost 70 degrees the other day, felt like spring.
I'd better stop procrastinating and be a good flybaby.
See Ya,
-Jo
Jenny, your table is really pretty! Are you going to try to protect it from your kids??
Heidi, what movies are you watching? By the way, I was wondering if you'd mind emailing me - I have some questions about the bowel issues your son went through - I can't find your email. Mine is on my profile.
Whoohoo, now the baby can come! DH finished baling last night. He celebrated by taking a 20 minute shower this morning when he got in. AND he said he was going to go to church with us. Not sure he really will though. He's sound asleep on the couch and I hate to wake him up.
Andrea, I don't know!! I didn't think about that because the other table wasn't real wood! I'm thinking that they can eat breakfast and lunches at the snack bar (which is what they usually do anyway) and this will be for dinner. And they are going to have to do their homework at the snack bar or at the desk in their room, too. ALTHOUGH, I'm not so worried about the kids as DH. When my MIL saw it last night, after she got done oooing and ahhhhing, she turned to him and said, NO MECHANICKING!!!! LOL! With the leaf in, my tablecloths don't fit it. The armchairs weren't in stock, will be a week or two for them (as long as they are in before Thanksgiving!!!).
As I said, hopefully church today. But if DH doesn't want to wake up, we may not go either. I don't want to deal with Chance like last week. But we will see what the day has in store.
DH and I are going to visit his family for about a week (this was planned a while ago), and they don't have high-speed internet. So I might not be posting much for a while. It should be fun, but I'll miss y'all!
That's great - must feel good for Jeff. We got a new kitchen table a while back and I'm trying to protect it, but it's hard. We don't have a snack bar -

Andrea-you're welcome,hope it helps.
Jenny-my DD loves arts and crafts and she usually does it at the DR table. I just cover with newspaper, buy only washable paints and markers, and when she uses playdoh or clay she does it on a large cookie sheet. Hope that will help.
Becky-have fun visiting,a little R and R is good.
Hi everyone
The wind is blowing everyone's leaves onto our yard,oh well. One more session out there this week and that should do it,hopefully.
Thanks for your advice Heidi, I really appreciate it - they are stumbling through this and VERY stressed. Their DD was a preemie - 7 months I think - and anything medical brings back BAD memories. They have hesitated to seek medical attention because of it.
Heidi has been helping me with a family medical issue - thanks Heidi! (for those of you who are wondering.. what the heck????)
Jenny - did you make it to church? We did - miracle.
My parents are here now and leaving early am to fly back to MT - it has been a nice time complicagted with some health and other issues - but still nice.
Have a nice nite all - see you in the new week -
By the way, is anyone wililng to organize the Xmas card list? I want to participate, but not sure I have the time to organize it...
That would be great Julie - it's great to see you again by the way. If you do't mind posting your email, that would work. Or if people are interested, you could email them asking for their address - what ever you think - I know you are good at this kind of stuff.
Just having some quiet time before work - the kids are actuallysleeping still, which is unusal = they usually get up when I do at 5:30. Just a regular day - buat I hope to maintain with dw,laundry, and exercise. Dinner too. Maybe I can work 15 minutes in the garden.
I know, that would be so cool! Then I would have an excuse to have a big dress up Halloween birthday party every year! I could turn the bunk house into a haunted house, or the barn, or something. I think that would be SO COOL!
It's also my dad's birthday (don't forget to call him when the kids get home from school!!). I was hoping if the baby was born on his birthday that he would actually like one of my kids (he doesn't just hate my kids, he hates all kids in general, including his own! LOL!). But so far, nothing.
I can tada vacuuming the living room and dining room (which was fun because my Dyson has such good suction, I can suck up all these flies while they are still alive, which is kinda cool. Got a wasp in there, too, and you can see them in the canister. Yeah, I'm sick). I've also gotten the pies done and in the oven. Oh, and I got the trash out of the garage and into my truck (which wasn't planned, stemmed from a fight with DH, who, in the moment of anger, yelled he was tired of supporting my ass and me not do anything. So I took out the trash. LOL!).
Just popping in with a quick Hi!! I have been missing in action and definitely now flying. I did try to read fast and Im glad I didnt miss Jenny having her baby boy! Heres some labor vibes for you Jenny ~*~*~*~*
We have had a rough month here. On top of Alexa having roseola, 2 feet of water in the basement, no heat or hot water for 4 days, then last wednesday at 530am I was woken up to someone smashing a brick through our sunroom window, sticking their hand in and stealing Dh's wallet. This is the second time we have been burglarized and now I am terrified and have literally not slept in a week. We of course didnt have the alarm set. Thank goodness thats all it was but I still cant get rid of the scared feeling. Dh works most nights until 930pm and I feel like I am crawling in my own skin. Believe it or not we do live in an upper middle class neighborhood, although 5 minutes down the road is a pretty shady area. I know this too shall pass but for now I am a little freaked. Thanks for listening
So quick waves to everyone. Heres a quick tada form the past week:
~got Alexa's Christmas dress and shoes, now just have to have her picture taken.
~put air conditioner that has been in living room for like 4 weeks away
~dusted
~vacuumed den and living room
~cleaned up backyard
~had window replace
~had new front door installed
Thats about it! Hope you girls have a good night and I will see you tomorrow, Love Jackie
All of my addresses for everyone are ANCIENT. I've been wanting to update, and this is just the thing to keep me checking in here daily. I miss you all when I don't--even though I think about you all the time.
What's the best way to go about it? Private messages from those who want to participate? Or should I post my email? We can't see them on the profile anymore, can we?
Julie

Jana, will it be too rainy for trick or treating? Bummer.
Hey Karin!
Have a spooky night ladies.

Rain here too :-(
But unless it’s torrential we’ll still go.
Even with out the rain we are not big on Halloween.

No trick or treating here either
DS8 dressed up for the "Harvest Festival" at school on Friday. He was a Jedi. I gave him the option of going trick-or-treating tonight, or of going to the PX and getting a new Bionicle set. Obi-Wan-William wisely chose the latter. YES! He doesn't care for candy, anyway, and we'd have to drive somewhere to go trick-or-treating, thus leaving the house unattended. I don't think so!
Today's TADA's:
Walked dog
2 loads of laundry
front half of the lawn cut (then it started to rain)

Wow, is it November already!!
Wow, is it November already!!?? Sheesh!
Later!
Jenny, you should have stoppe
Jenny, you should have stopped by our house. We were giving out kitkats, reece's cups, and hershey bars. I also had a small bag of smarties as a back up. We probably had about 80 kids (bought candy for 100 soooo, that leaves the leftovers for us
)

Well Trey and I had dentist appointments today, Trey has to go back Thursday to have a cavity filled
The Dentist says his teeth are better than most though so I guess that's good. I allways feel so guilty about cavities, this is his 3rd one! (baby teeth but still)
I bought him some of those little chewy tablets today that tell you where you missed when your brushing, we just need to do a better job, end of story.
Better run, the kids are FAR to quiet!
Pieces of toys
Rough day here.
Please keep my friend in your thoughts today.
Jana
Olá!!! Jana, sorry about
Olá!!!

Not fun.

G'Mornin, G'Mornin!
* Make a grocery list & menu
* Work on workbook for our S.S. class (I'm behind on my homework)
* Whatever else comes my way!
Well, I'd better run. It's almost time to drag DD out the door. Talk to you gals later!

shower, dress and pick up before DH gets back from the Y (he's working an afternoon shift today)
maybe out for a late breakfast (to discuss the party)
print out family photos (& stranger photos-- DS needs 20+ family members (within 2 generations) for a family tree in spanish, we don't have that many, so the teacher told him to make up names and pictures, then label in spanish their relationship to student)
Time to go, romper room hellos to all
Congratulations, Susan!
Have a great day!
Rose
6 days and counting
ARG! MEN!!!

Hi Guys -
Just poking my head in, I've been reading along. Busy week and my folks are still here, so we are busy with them.

Finger is Fine

I *Love* It When I Triple Post!
My computer is so cantankerous that I get impatient and hit the post button again. Sorry!
OMG, Jackie! A really rough
Friday! Yippeedy Do Da!!
I am so glad it is finally Friday! This has been one more lonnnnnnnnng week to me.
PODA:
* Laundry - get it done to free me up for the weekend
* Menu plan & grocery list (* see below)
* Work at office 8-12
Vonnie
"Sugar is not our friend"
That's what my son says. I have found that artificial coloring/flavoring/sweeteners are also detrimental to my son's ability to focus and listen!!!
Jackie, here's to better days!
Jenny, wouldn't November 4th be a good birthday? Isn't that usually US Election day?
Hope everyone has a great weekend.
Rose
morning
Only Jenny gets sugar at her house!

Heidi
Hi!
Andrea
No flying today. Except the
No flying today.
My dining room set comes in tomorrow, so in the morning I'll have to do some cleaning in the living room/dining room and kitchen. Here is a link to it:

It's 8:30 and I wanna go to bed!!! Ok, ain't gonna happen. No way Chance is going to go for it. LOL! And DH will have to be ready to leave anytime between now and morning to go bale hay (he went at 3:30 this morning).
Becky, I'm really sorry your feeling down. Hope you get a pick me up soon!!
Ya'll have a nice night!

And as for the teenage boys
I have been getting compliments on DS15 from random people, like the receptionist at the dentist yeaterday.
See Ya,

Jo, that is good news about your boys!
Jenny, your table is really pretty! Are you going to try to protect it from your kids??
Heidi, what movies are you watching? By the way, I was wondering if you'd mind emailing me - I have some questions about the bowel issues your son went through - I can't find your email. Mine is on my profile.
See ya guys!

The hay is baled!
But we will see what the day has in store.
going on a trip
DH and I are going to visit his family for about a week (this was planned a while ago), and they don't have high-speed internet. So I might not be posting much for a while. It should be fun, but I'll miss y'all!
Hi
Jenny -
That's great - must feel good for Jeff.

See ya
Heidi
Hi all -Just a few minute
Hi all -
Just a few minute before my West Wing starts!
Andrea
Morning
That would be great Julie - it's great to see you again by the way. If you do't mind posting your email, that would work. Or if people are interested, you could email them asking for their address - what ever you think - I know you are good at this kind of stuff.
Just having some quiet time before work - the kids are actuallysleeping still, which is unusal = they usually get up when I do at 5:30. Just a regular day - buat I hope to maintain with dw,laundry, and exercise. Dinner too. Maybe I can work 15 minutes in the garden.
Andrea
Halloween birthday
LOL!).
Sugar is not our friend
That's precisely the point, Jenny. He wouldn't eat it, I would. I don't think my metabolism is as forgiving as yours.
Rose
Hi Flyfriends!!
Don't protect the table
It's hopeless. Just get it refinished when the kids grow up.
I'd love to do it!
Julie

My sister's is October 27
We had a big Halloween party for her birthday every year.
I still have the list from 2 years ago
But I don't know how many of the addresses are still the same.
