![]() Where have I been that I wasn't listening to Nickel Creek?I heard these guys on NPR a week ago and went to check out the album at the iTunes store. I was intrigued because the three members are all under 30 but have been playing together for 20 years. Reader, I bought it. I have "When in Rome" and "Best of Luck" on heavy rotation, as well as the lilting, bittersweet title track. I went back and bought their first album too, much more traditionally bluegrass but there's nothing wrong with that, I love that music. (I suppose at some point I'll have to go back and buy the middle album.) This is a fantastic album if you're not a purist. Lynn Siprelle, Editor » email this page | reply
We are fans!We love Nickel Creek too. And if you think you are not a bluegrass fan don't let that stop you from listening. They are great! We saw them play live a few years ago. They were wonderful, and when they were done they stepped out into the audience to chat with their adoring fans. Very nice kids. » email this page | reply
