I Won a Prize for Spinning Crappy Yarn!

I won the spinner's triathlon today at Oregon Flock and Fiber! First you spin for two minutes plain, then you spin for two minutes blindfolded, then for two minutes with rubber dishwashing gloves on. You measure each section and are awarded points based on the length of the spinning (thank god not on the quality). And I won! I got a pretty fuschia OFFF t-shirt and a "mystery batt" (all kinds of different fibers combed together) from Fantasy Fibers. whee! I'm two for two on the festival circuit!

Just a little funky! Don't let her fool you folks, Lynn could spin in a HASMAT suit if she had to! Hmm...wonder if we should suggest that as a contest for next year?
