Skywatch September 2005

Early this morning - at 0230 to be precise - I was awoken by the restlessness of my two canine houseguests. Talk about serendipity! I was treated to a phenomenal light show. There is tremendous sunspot activity this week. The result will be more widespread viewing of the Aurora Borealis - and potentially, disruptions to cell phone and satellite services. TNHer's at more northern latitudes should be able to spot the dancing northern lights. Enjoy!

I Thought I Saw Them!
And then I thought maybe I was wrong. Last night DS15 played an away soccer game under the lights. He didn't get home until 11:00. When I went to get him I had already been sleeping for an hour in my chair waiting for him to call. In my fuzzy headedness I discounted what I saw. Now I know I'm not (always) crazy! Thanks Rose!
