Hope everyone is off to a good start! I've gotten a lot of my PODA done, but still more to do - dinner prep, errand to next town, maybe practice piano, DD to dance.
Morgan, yes we have painted bold colors and never regretted it! Paint is fairly cheap, you can always paint over it! We've done a deep Tuscan Gold for the living room, cranberry red for the dining room with khaki on the bottom, periwinkle for DD5's room, sunny yellow for DS7's room, khaki for our bedroom, gray for the bathrooms, pale blue-green for the kitchen and boring off-white for everywhere else! That won't last for long though! I would recommend buying the best paint you can afford - we've used Valspar or Dutch Boy - it does make a difference I think. Also we've done the trim in high-gloss white - really sets off the vivid colors - DH has put crown molding around the top of most ceilings, also in the high gloss white.
OK, that probably belonged in another thread, sorry!
Well, TA DA:
*We homeschooled
*Therapy over and done
*Mailed one eBay package
*Caught up some of the laundry
*Put the male hamster into a plastic container until we can get another tank. Mama wasn't havin' none of him. She was nipping at him...had him cornered on his back! Besides, the babies are now able to crawl out of the nest and he'd probably eat them.
Talk about kablooey. The house is a mess, and my vacuum cleaner is kaput. DH tried to fix it last night, but it was burnt motor-wise. I'm going to do Lynn's potato latkes for supper, with applesauce.
PODA:
*Complete other auctions.
*List at least one new auction tonight. We're borrowing a digital camera, so it should be easy.
*Lots of folding laundry
*Sweep the carpet with a broom and steam clean trouble spots tonight.
I have got to figure out what to do in the face of having no money whatsoever. DH is doing a quickie landscaping job today, which should bring a couple hundred dollars, but that's already spent. Also, he's starting a big job soon, which will pay half on delivery of materials, so we can mail off some big payments then, but it won't be enough for groceries & the rest of the bills. Well, boogar! Money is a bother.
The boys are outside playing, so I'll probably have some scrubbing of clothing articles to do tonight as well. But they really really need the fresh air! DS3 was tantruming again this afternoon.
At www.clarkhoward.com, somewhere or other on the site, there is a hierarchy of which bills to pay first when you have to let some slide. Let me know if you can't find it and I'll go up and dig the book version out of my bookshelf.
I'm in steroid withdrawal all month, did I mention that? Fun fun fun.... So I have to do laundry today, anyway. And I have chili in the crockpot. That's about all I can handle.
DH, DS5, and myself were in Houston all weekend, got back last night about 6:00. DS17 and DC16 stayed home and believe it or not the house looked pretty good when we got home, I'm proud So far I've only found where one of them put the honey back in the cabinet upside down and had a little mess in there, not so bad.
DH took today off as a day to catch up on rest after the weekend and instead we ran around ALL day! Left this morning about 11 and got back this afternoon about 5. Tomorrow I'll fly
Morgan, I've also used some pretty bold colors and can't get enough. My bedroom is navy blue, my bath is about 4 shades lighter blue. Downstairs is a very open floor plan, no doors, just arches, so we had to go with the same color threw out. It's called Brushed fur, but looks sort of like a light chocolate milk color. I've got lots of before (all white) and after pictures if you wanna see. We did the same as Andrea and the trim is high gloss white, I love the contrast. I still have the classroom, one bathroom, a half bath, and the boys rooms to go. DS5's room is a sky blue with a Red Power Ranger mural painted on the wall beside his bed.
DH is fussing, gotta go. See you guys tomorrow, hope to have a nice TADA to report
Jamie Lea
Jamie, I would love to see the before and after pictures. It has already been so much fun just trying to plan all of this! How have you been feeling? Are you going to find out the sex of your baby?
Last night was a rough night all around. DH couldn't sleep so after repeatedly waking me up by making noise he moved downstairs to the couch. I was stuck in a pattern of tossing and turning and waking up every hour, but it got worse when DS3 woke up because of a bad dream. After about 1/2 an hour of trying my mommy tricks to comfort him one of the cats wandered into his bedroom and that made everything better. GO FIGURE! I'm hoping for a better night tonight!
Nobody has answered my question about the photo gallery. How do you add pictures to them?
I shopped all day for paint samples and clothes for DS3 so I didn't get anything done at home.
Poda for tomorrow:
laundry
vaccum (does anyone else hate doing this?)
change all sheets
Morgan, up in the top left hand corner of the screen where it has your name, click on "Create content" That will take you to a page with alot of options, choose "image". It's pretty self explanatory after that, sometimes a little hard to get the size just right, I had to play with it a while. Hope that helps.
If you send me email at jamielea@juno.com I'll send the pictures in e-mail.
I'm feeling pretty good, how about you? I'll defiantly be finding out the sex ASAP, I don't do surprises very well Are you planning to find out? If you do don't tell, we like to guess and see who's right! Hope usually keeps up with the guesses and starts a month or so before your due date.
Ok, sorry so Off Topic this time, promise to do better next time
TA DA:

*Mailed 3 eBay packages
*Put lemon chicken & rice in crockpot
*Prayed! and journaled
*Revised my menu and made a shopping list (DH gave me a little cash)

*Fold some laundry
*Read a bit of Purpose-Driven Life (homegroup book)

Tomorrow night is homegroup and at some point I need to think about doing valentines for our hs party on Friday. I think I'm going to bring deviled eggs, since I have an overabundance of eggs right now. Also need to bring a soft drink. Add to grocery list.
Alright, enough thinking out loud! Miss you guys. It's awful quiet around here today.
I tried to post last night twice but got error messages and gave up. I'm barely flapping along, just maintaining really. Hope tomorrow is a better day.
TADA
ppppbbbbtttthhhhh
PODA
attempt to maintain sanity
try to get some sleep, things will seem better if I'm rested. The problem is, how to get 3 still-recovering kids to sleep through the night?
Time for me to hit the bed. I'm going to play "tag, you're it" with DH in hopes of getting in 5 or so hours before the first round of wakeful kids...
Jo, I feel so badly for you! DS3 has croupe so he was up most of the night, but I actually thought of you with all 3 of your kiddos and thought "This could be MUCH worse!!" I hope that your crew lets you get some sleep tonight!
Tada:
HA! Snuggled with DS ALL DAY LONG! I hate that he is sick, but I love that he turns into such a love bug! He is complaining about his left ear hurting whenever he coughs so if that doesn't stop I will take him to the doc tomorrow. Maybe an ear infection?
Well, I'm not going to plan to do anything until DS is better, so we will see how tomorrow goes! I hope everyone has a great night!
Morgan
Gosh it seems everyone is sick, including us! Ds7 stayed home from school today with a virus and it is not looking promising for tomorrow. At least I can make up my missed days of work. We are planning to fly to AZ for 6 nights to be with my parents - I just hope he is better by then.
Have a good night all - and I really don't know about those hamsters Susannah!
Morgan, you are beautiful, and DS is cute, cute, cute! Loved the lion outfit!
Sorry to hear everybody is under the weather. Jo, I was hoping your crew'd be better by now! You poor thing! TA DA, you're surviving.
Mike hasn't popped up in a long time; neither has Jenny. Hope they are all okay.
I've really got to get something done today. I forgot that I had to go grocery shopping last night & didn't get back 'til midnight, so didn't get the PODA done. But, the menu's provided for.
PODA:
*Homeschool (late again today)
*Fold laundry
*Make bed
*Sweep carpet
*Finish washing diapers
Love you guys. Get well prayers going out to you all.
Love,
Susannah
P.S. Jamie, are you going to tell, or make us guess?
Where's everybody at! Ok we know your all lurking so go ahead and post!
Morgan, I loved the pictures, you are beautiful and what a cute boy! I love being able to put a face with names. I think I've "seen" everyone now except Vonnie and Jo.
I've talked on the phone way too much today but I did homeschool, do one load laundry, empty the dw, and get some phone business taken care of.
I need to run to the store for milk or beg DH to do it on his way home, I'll probably do it myself as I already owe him big time for stuff from last week. Yep, I'm goin, see you guys later.
Jamie Lea
Dylan has a little ear infection, but nothing too major. It should be cleared up in a couple of days. I actually got quite a bit done this morning.
Tada:
washed kitchen curtains
dusted
cleaned out coat closet
moved stereo upstairs to our bedroom
picked up after the puppy outside
took out the trash (to sit with all of the other trash that DH forgot to put out this morning... oh well, we'll have TONS of trash next week!)
I also vaccumed the dining room, sitting room, and family room! WOO HOO!
Thank you for your compliments on the pictures. Of course I think that Dylan is the cutest thing to ever walk the face of the earth, but it's nice to hear that other people think he's cute too!!!!!
Now I'm off to unload and load the dishwasher. I've come to understand that the key to getting a lot done is to tell yourself that you can just sit around all day. For some reason when you don't think you have to get things done you get an abundance of energy! Have a great afternoon!
Morgan
i know I got on the ball again only to disappear yet again for a bit. The computer was being goofy and life is just, well, life. That was profound!
TADA:
mailed bills and Valentines
Storytime at library
made dinner
Poda for tomorrow:
help at DS9 school
eye appt for me(been about 10 yrs since last one!)
pick Ds up from after school art class
Mom will be watching Dd2 so I can do all that, thank goodness.
Been looking into the Wilson Reading Method for Ds. His reading teacher will be teaching this method to him one on one 40 minutes a day M-f at school. He hasn't made really good progress with his decoding skills so they are recommending this program. Anyone heard or used it?
Kids running around like wild Indians with the neighbor kid and dog in tow so I will corral the masses and get them focused on something other than DRIVING ME BONKERS...
Glad everyone is okay. Hope sickies feel up to par ASAP.
I just realized that in my earlier post I said I was going to "bed DH to get him to stop on his way home for milk" I surely did mean BEG, not bed!
Well for the first time in months my bedroom is clean, as in very clean. Wasn't it me who issued a challenge about a year ago to make our bedrooms our "sanctuary's" like flylady said. Mine was more like a "sanitarium" but it's clean now
Yes, great pictures Morgan! You look about 22 years old, sheesh! Wish I could figure out those *%!@ pictures!
Hi Heidi! Yes, I have heard of the Wilson - regular and special ed teachers use it at our school - also a school for LD kids nearby uses it - I've heard really good things about it and would like to learn more myself. Please keep us posted - I hope it helps him!
Worked half day today, then lunch with a friend, shopping, etc.
Busy, busy!
Hah! Finally a real TADA
floors
bathrooms
fling boogie in kitchen and LR
dishes
counters
ran 4 miles (I am despairing of ever getting to 13, esp. by May!)
dinner:pork chops, green beans and corn
PODA
gather up everything for skiing tomorrow
early to bed
DS12 and DD3 slept 12 hours last night, DD only woke up coughing once! Not bad!
Jamielea, I doubt you'll see me on the web because we are such techno losers! I'm running a 56 speed modem on a 6 year old computer that doesn't even have a CD burner. We also don't have a digital camera or scanner. We just got a portable telephone 2 years ago, still don't have a cell, and got a remote control for our TV with 3 channels last November! Oh well, if I ever get the proper technology, this will be the first place I'll post pics. How's that?
Just popping in with a quick hello. Sorry to all sickies! Seems like every plan I've had the past month has been cancelled because someone in our house has been sick. I'm tired of it!!!
Nothing to report -- finally getting our tour of the French Immersion school this morning, DD started piano lessons last night (Yamaha music school), despite my best efforts DH never has clean underwear.
I am looking at painting too. I want to do the dining room in some kind of deep blue, then the living room (connected by an archway) maybe in a textured periwinkle. Our house is already painted in colors, but I want my own colors. Do you need to use primer over colors?
Long time no "see". Sorry i have been missing in action, I hate my schedule now and is sor hard to keep up. I am either at work for days in a row or off for 3 days but trying to get everything done i didn't do while I worked every minute.
Hope everyone is feeling better. I am sending healthy vibes to all everyone and their kids. We have been well, had a Dr appointment yesterday. Everything was great- the baby was kicking and poking away at my belly. My DH missed my Level 2 so was exciting yesterday for him to be with me for this ultrasound. We are not findoing out the sex, but after seeing this time I'm thinking I finally have a maternal instinct of girl. We will see... My blood pressure was a little high yesterday. But I was a bad patient- I drank regular coffee- 2 cups!!- 1 hour before appointment. I usually drink decaf but we ran out so I made regular and totally forgot. Plus I was anxious, I had some bleeding Monday but everything was fine. Worry can be such a useless emotion. So now since my Dr's are worrywarts and since you know I am like a dinosaur to have my first baby I have to pee into this big jug for 24 hours so they can monitor my protein. Such fun. I have to keep it in the fridge- I hope someone doesn't mistake it for apple juice. :) Yucky!!
Morgan you are beautiful and your DS is adorable. I tried to add some pictures too, not thtat I know what I amdoing but it looks like it worked I hope.
Jamielea, I think you've already "bed" your husband enough Just kidding. Hope you're feeling well, sounds like you've got some energy back.
OK off to the flapping Tada:
~ washed pots from dinner that were soaking on stove for 2 days. Gross
~made bed
~1 load laundry in dryer
~watered kitchen plants.
PODA:
~work 12-9pm.
~want to try to do walking tape before I go to work. We will see.
~fold laundry and put away.
~pack some healthy food for work.
Not much but its a start. Help I have fallen and I cant get up. I have absolutely no motivation lately and I can feel the difference in our house and my attitude. Baby steps I guess....
Well have a great day everyone. Love Jackie
Flying while pregnant is tough. I'm glad you popped in and gave us an update, I'd been wondering how things were going. I really feel for you with that work schedule. I can't get anything done even without a work schedule!
Jamie, you crack me up!
Jo, I kinda wish we were in that techno hinterland. I can't tell you how many computer upgrades I've lived through with my tech-head hubby. "Excelsior!" Always something out there faster & better. As if he doesn't have enough on his plate, he's started a web business with a buddy who was a former student of his.
Just looking out the window...our back yard looks like a junk heap. When it dries out a little, I'm going to go throw it all in a pile at least.
TA DA's from yesterday:
*Homeschooled
*Dried diapers
*Folded one load of laundry and put it all away
*Mushroom-onion-pepper-cheese omelets for supper
*Two bids on my auction!
SLUG: Missed homegroup last night due to unforeseen circumstances.
I've got a big PODA today. No play group, as our little friends are at their grandparents'. But I had a good chat with my friend yesterday on the phone.
*Homeschool
*Email homegroup leader for update
*Emma's checkup at Ped. this afternoon
*Invited Mom over for soup dinner; she's bringing me her vacuum cleaner as she is replacing it with a lighter one. Too heavy for her arthritis. It's a nice one, a canister type, but it is heavy.
*Bake sugar cookies to give as valentines
*Call someone to find out where the V-Day party is tomorrow.
I'm making Leanne's veggie soup base with the Tex-Mex added ingedients. Let you know how it turns out! It should be good, with fresh turnip, green beans, etc. in it.
Oh, that reminds me..
*Cook black beans. I'll have to quick soak 'em since I forgot to put them on last night.
Susannah, I crack myself up at times BTW, I feel your pain with the techno hubby, mines the same way. He just got a new toy that will allow him to put our home video's on DVD, one more thing to keep him busy doing something other than the "honey do" list.
Jackie, It's SO good to see you posting and thanks for sharing your pictures. I know how to put the digital pictures on here but I don't know how to scan. I loved the baby picture
Well believe it or not I have a TADA!!
This morning the guys called to deliver a king size mattress for DH and I. Afraid of what they might find when they moved our old mattress... I moved it myself and it wasn't so bad after all, nothing under there but a couple dust bunnies. I moved the old mattress and box springs into the room that DS17 and DC16 share. Its a very big room and right now they have a queen and twin bed, this way they'll both have a big bed. I'll just store the twin in the garage until we need it. Now with all that bed moving if I could just get DS5's twin size bed out of my room!! He'll be 6 in March, I think it's about time! :lol
I also dusted/vacuumed the blinds and cleaned the windows in my bedroom, decluttered DH's side table drawer, and stared on my bathroom! Pretty good I think
I'm still working in my bedroom so I may be back this afternoon with yet another TADA!
See you guys later.
Jamie Lea
Shaun, you don't have to prime as long as your not trying to cover a dark color with a light one. BTW, those colors sound great! Blue is my favorite color.
It's already 8:30 and I've got a LOT to do this morning. DH wants me to have shirt & pants washed, dried and pressed before 1:00. I've also got to make the deviled eggs, 40 valentines, and get everyone dressed at to Hartwell by 2:00.
So, that's my PODA! LOL! TA DA: I did steam clean one-half of the carpet last night. Didn't move things to do it but got the traffic area. It looks better. Supper with Mom went well. Leanne's veggie soup is very yummy!
Thanks for telling me how to view pics. enjoyed seeing everyone that had pics up. will try to get DH to show me how to do it so I can post some too.
DS9 off from school til Tuesday so we are going to the dentist this pm. Also, need to do a quick Marc's run for fresh fruit and veggies and milk. Other than that, just hang out with the kids. The house is in pretty good shape. Maybe bake VD cookies. LOL. That'sValentine's day to all you demented ones out there!
I got up at just before 7 this morning and I haven't been tired yet. I love these days! DH and I still are trying to kick a sore throat and cough, but other than that we are MUCH better here.
Tada's for today:
took the dog for a walk
made a red velvet cake... still waiting to frost it
caught up on this weeks quilting... I'll fill you in on that
a load of laundry
Not too shabby!
Poda:
turkey manicotti for dinner
decorate Valentine's cake
What is everyone doing tomorrow for Valentine's Day? DH and I are going out to eat and then maybe a movie. Where we eat will be a mystery until tomorrow night. My stomach is still up and down, so we will decide where to go according to that.
I'm taking a quilting class on Wednesday afternoons, but I had to miss this week's class because DS was sick. The instructor was kind enough to meet me this morning and give me my lesson plans so now I am caught up. I will learn 20 new blocks by the time the class is over. I'm very excited! Well, I'm off to decorate my cake. Have a great afternoon!
Morgan
Well between "bedding" and "staring" I'm not getting much done! It's COLD here today, or at least cold for us. We had some sleet last night, and expecting more tonight. DS17 and DC16 both had friends over last night so we had a pretty full house.
Funny story. Last night DS5 was getting a little jealous cause I was spending a little more time than usual in DS17 and DC16's room. I was helping them arrange furniture so he had started acting out. I sent him to his room and a few minutes later he came to me eyes red and in tears and said... "Mama, you know that stick and napkin you carry when your walking away from your home?" He was referring to the hobo sack you see on cartoons like Tom and Jerry, I guess he was planning on running away. He's so funny, hard to stay mad at him.
Not much flying today but DS5 and I went to the mall for a little shopping and had lunch there. I had a mini make over and got me some new foundation, looks alot better than before. And it came with a free gift.
No real TADA to report but I did my morning routine and maintained in my bedroom, I'm still just "staring" at the bathroom. See you guys later.
Jamie Lea
Keep on staring Jamie Lea! That's a cute story by the way!
Sounds like you're doing great Morgan - have a great V. Day.
We celebrated a bit tonite with gifts for the kids and chocolates for DH. Nothing for me at my request. Tomorrow is errands and packing and etc. - we leave for Arizona on Sunday. Also we have a Valentine's Dinner at friends' house - so I'm making caesar salad for 10!
DH came home last night at 6:10 and informed me that his niece's birthday celebration was at 6:30...Needless to say, I got nothing done around here last night.
TADA
Helped DD make valentines for her preschool friends
washed 2 loads of towels, we were totally out, which I discovered upon stepping out of the shower, dripping wet
read new Olivia book to DD 5 times tonight
PODA
read Olivia again after she gets out of the tub
figure out what to wear to a wedding tomorrow
fold towels & put in bathrooms
pick up DS13 from dance at 10:00
try to stay awake until 10:00
My kids have been coming out with funnies lately too. A couple of days ago, DD5 was helping me peel a carrot. When she finished, she put the peeler down emphatically and said, "Well, it looks like my work here is finished."
And last night, my DH overheard them joking, "Open up clam! Don't be shell-fish!"
We have an Olivia book, too. We also have an Olivia (DD5). The book was a gift from her aunt.
I can't seem to do anything this morning. It's an attack of the Sat. morning lazies. I don't wanna clean up! Waaaaah!
I think our PODA is to go to Mom's house today. DH needs to finish up some work there, computer and otherwise. I need to do some shopping for next week's menu, and for poor Pippin, who needs a new home. That rubbermaid container isn't the best environment for a hamster! The babies are really, really cute. I need to look up how long it is before they are weaned. I think they can start breeding pretty quickly. Also, need to pay the satellite bill before they cut off service.
I hope to get some laundry finished too, by day's end.
Hi all, I tried to log on yesterday but couldn't for some reason.
I have mental images of Susannah's house being overrun in a month with hamsters all over the place, getting into everything, eluding the cat, and finally being called off by a moonlighting Pied Piper.
How is everyone? I am enjoying my weekend off. Not used to having no plans for the day. I thought I would feel lost but my couch is very comfy right now.
Happy Valentine's Day!! We are both actually off together all day today. We are having some yummy lobsters for dinner. I can't wait. It has been our tradition on Valentine's day. Although I think Valentines Day has become so commercial. Maybe I have been working retail too long but why do we need a day to express our love. No offense to anyone but I would rather flowers on just any day than a day when they feel they HAVE to send them. Although jewelry on Valentines day is always nice
Jamie, your DS is funny. I cant wait to have some funny stories to share. Although my nieces do crack me up. My niece Hailey was watching TV the other day, took her bottle out of her mouth and told my Mom "Grammie, I don't want to grow big bumps" putting her hands on her chest. Where do they get this stuff?
OK on to my lack of flying:
~made menus and food shopping list. Actually followed the sales circular and planned dinners around it. Big tada for me
~went food shopping
~visited Mil and Fil for 1 hour
~went to diner with DH for lunch
~unpacked groceries and cleaned out refrigerator
~relax until we have our yummy dinner
Have a great love filled day I am off again tomorrow, hopefully will pop in with some productive tadas... Bye Love Jackie
Took Saturday off and we drove out to visit friends in PA for the day. we had pizza for dinner and played the 20th anniv Trivial Pursuit game. Was a good time, hadn't seen them since last spring when they came our way to see our new house.
PODA for today:
wash whites
buy lunch meat for the week
read Sunday paper
WalMart with Ds to pick out his reward for spelling tests
Relax as needed!
Ds off again tomorrow so may visit grandparents and maybe eat lunch out.
Hope everyone has a good Sunday.
See you all tomorrow.
We are skipping church today, since we had a late night last night. I really hate missing it, but there was no way to get there on time without a total rush, and I just wasn't up to it.
We had a little adventure last night, which I journaled about already.
TA DA:
*Got the grocery shopping done in spite of it all!
*Put away cold stuff
*Ran DW
*Straightened up a little bit in the LR when we got in
*Got to bed before 1 a.m.
On my PODA today is:
*Finish laundry
*Put away the rest of the groceries
*Hang out and try to relax
Congrats to your DS on his spelling tests, Heidi! Glad you had a fun day.
Susannah, I'm glad Emma is ok, I know that was scary!
Jackie, funny about the bumps, DS5 once wanted to know why he didn't have any!? You'll have lots of funny stories very soon! When DS5 was a newborn my mom was here helping me out. I went into the guest bedroom about 3 in the morning with a pillow over my shoulder, woke my mom and asked her to take him, informed her that I had just fed him. He was still in the bassinet in my room sleeping.
I haven't done much flying this weekend, we all went out for lunch today and then to find some bedding for DS17 and DC16. We got matching bed in a bag sets, looks much better.
DH is calling me to watch a movie, see you guys later.
Jamie Lea
I added a new photo of DS5 from last weekend when we went to Houston. The picture is taken inside the hotel lobby, those are live swans! Very nice hotel that was paid for by the Military
We are heading out on our crazy road trip early Saturday morning. We will travel from home 700 miles to Charlottesville, VA the first day and then from Charlottesville to Merrit Island, FL 770 miles, the second day. We will do Kennedy Space Center and Disney and the beach and then go to the campground my parents are at, right near Venice on the coast side. Then we will go north to Nashville to see DH's sister, and then the 20 hour trip home in two days. We are packing tonight, as this week should prove as busy as usual. The kids are so incredibly excited. I have way too much to do, like find the sunscreen.
TADA
church

found summer clothes for me, DH and DD3
went through summer clothes with DS12 and DS13-my have they grown!
packed clothes for DD, DH and me

PODA

Susannah, I'm so glad Emma was OK. How scary! You'll have to tell me how the lentil-spinach stew turned out for you!
Jackie, how was the lobster? Yum, I love it! I'm jealous
Jamielea, I'm curious about the bedding-did the boys pick it out? My guys need some but they think everything looks "girly." I did buy some fabric to make them quilts, but no progress in that department.
Comments
Phew!
I was going into withdrawal!
Andrea
I have no idea what happened
Around 10 am PST I logged in and found everything all kablooey, shook everything out and it's working again. Who knows. Gremlins.
Lynn Siprelle, Editor
Glad you chased 'em off!
I was starting to get the shakes! LOL!
Better go check auctions.
Love y'all!
Susannah
Clark Howard
At www.clarkhoward.com, somewhere or other on the site, there is a hierarchy of which bills to pay first when you have to let some slide. Let me know if you can't find it and I'll go up and dig the book version out of my bookshelf.
I'm in steroid withdrawal all month, did I mention that? Fun fun fun.... So I have to do laundry today, anyway. And I have chili in the crockpot. That's about all I can handle.
I missed my flypals!
DH, DS5, and myself were in Houston all weekend, got back last night about 6:00. DS17 and DC16 stayed home and believe it or not the house looked pretty good when we got home, I'm proud
So far I've only found where one of them put the honey back in the cabinet upside down and had a little mess in there, not so bad.
Jamie Lea
Good Evening
Have a wonderful night everyone!!!
Morgan
Morgan
Morgan, up in the top left hand corner of the screen where it has your name, click on "Create content" That will take you to a page with alot of options, choose "image". It's pretty self explanatory after that, sometimes a little hard to get the size just right, I had to play with it a while. Hope that helps.
If you send me email at jamielea@juno.com I'll send the pictures in e-mail.
I'm feeling pretty good, how about you? I'll defiantly be finding out the sex ASAP, I don't do surprises very well
Are you planning to find out? If you do don't tell, we like to guess and see who's right! Hope usually keeps up with the guesses and starts a month or so before your due date.
Ok, sorry so Off Topic this time, promise to do better next time
Nite,
Jamie Lea
Well this sucks!
I hate to come back only to find that I was the last one to post! Worse than that, I have no TADA!
What am I good for
Quick Post
I'm having an off day, but...
TA DA:
*Listed my mom's med. transcription books on eBay
*Homeschooled
*Stuck diapers in to soak
*Mailed 3 eBay packages
*Put lemon chicken & rice in crockpot
*Prayed! and journaled
*Revised my menu and made a shopping list (DH gave me a little cash)
SLUG:
*We totally missed P.E. because of my lateness and unpreparedness.
*Also, the carpet's awful. But I have no vacuum, so that's my excuse.
PODA:
*Make bacony creamed spinach
*Sweep carpet with broom
*Steam clean worst spots; well, the whole thing is a spot
*Fold some laundry
*Read a bit of Purpose-Driven Life (homegroup book)
*Bed at a decent hour
Tomorrow night is homegroup and at some point I need to think about doing valentines for our hs party on Friday. I think I'm going to bring deviled eggs, since I have an overabundance of eggs right now. Also need to bring a soft drink. Add to grocery list.
Alright, enough thinking out loud! Miss you guys. It's awful quiet around here today.
Love,
Susannah
Susannah and I are twins
Our vacuum cleaner is also broken with no $ to fix it (not even for parts, even if either of us had the skills).
I am at school all day. Just finished the homework.
Quiet
I tried to post last night twice but got error messages and gave up. I'm barely flapping along, just maintaining really. Hope tomorrow is a better day.

try to get some sleep, things will seem better if I'm rested. The problem is, how to get 3 still-recovering kids to sleep through the night?
Time for me to hit the bed. I'm going to play "tag, you're it" with DH in hopes of getting in 5 or so hours before the first round of wakeful kids...
Goodnight,

Sick Kids
Morgan
Sick
Gosh it seems everyone is sick, including us! Ds7 stayed home from school today with a virus and it is not looking promising for tomorrow. At least I can make up my missed days of work. We are planning to fly to AZ for 6 nights to be with my parents - I just hope he is better by then.
Have a good night all - and I really don't know about those hamsters Susannah!
Andrea
Pictures
I added a couple pictures to my photo gallery if you'd like to see!
Goodnight!
Morgan
Great Pics!
Hellooooo **insert echo**
Where's everybody at! Ok we know your all lurking
so go ahead and post!
Jamie Lea
Back from the Doctor

Have a good night All

LOL
I just realized that in my earlier post I said I was going to "bed DH to get him to stop on his way home for milk" I surely did mean BEG, not bed!
Well for the first time in months my bedroom is clean, as in very clean. Wasn't it me who issued a challenge about a year ago to make our bedrooms our "sanctuary's" like flylady said.
Mine was more like a "sanitarium" but it's clean now

Hi!
HI guys -
Yes, great pictures Morgan!
Busy, busy!

How's that?

morning all
Just popping in with a quick hello.
Better do some work before everyone else is up!
Shaun
Hi Flyfriends!!
Jamielea, I think you've already "bed" your husband enough
Just kidding.
Love Jackie
~
Hang in there, Jackie!
Love y'all!
Susannah
Afternoon flypals
Susannah, I crack myself up at times
BTW, I feel your pain with the techno hubby, mines the same way.
Well believe it or not I have a TADA!!
and it wasn't so bad after all, nothing under there but a couple dust bunnies. :lol
This morning the guys called to deliver a king size mattress for DH and I. Afraid of what they might find when they moved our old mattress... I moved it myself
I also dusted/vacuumed the blinds and cleaned the windows in my bedroom, decluttered DH's side table drawer, and stared on my bathroom! Pretty good I think
I'm still working in my bedroom so I may be back this afternoon with yet another TADA!
See you guys later.
Jamie Lea
PS
Shaun, you don't have to prime as long as your not trying to cover a dark color with a light one. BTW, those colors sound great! Blue is my favorite color.
Staring
You "stared" on your bathroom, JamieLea? That's all I do sometimes too!
Andrea
Mornin!
Love you guys!
Susannah
Thanks for telling me how to
Thanks for telling me how to view pics. enjoyed seeing everyone that had pics up. will try to get DH to show me how to do it so I can post some too.
Check back later.
Heidi
Good Day So Far
Morgan
Afternoon
Well between "bedding" and "staring"
I'm not getting much done!
"Mama, you know that stick and napkin you carry when your walking away from your home?"
He was referring to the hobo sack you see on cartoons like Tom and Jerry, I guess he was planning on running away.
Jamie Lea
Hi!

D'oh!
Have a peaceful Friday evening
-Jo
Busy Family Day, Jo!
Did you stay awake?
Jamie, I agree, your DS is funny!
Love y'all!
Susannah
hello
Hi all, I tried to log on yesterday but couldn't for some reason.
I have mental images of Susannah's house being overrun in a month with hamsters all over the place, getting into everything, eluding the cat, and finally being called off by a moonlighting Pied Piper.
Gotta run.
Hi Flyfriends!!
Have a great love filled day
I am off again tomorrow, hopefully will pop in with some productive tadas... Bye Love Jackie

Good Morning.
Heidi
Morning!
P.S.
Gonna try the lentil-spinach stew tonight!
Susannah, I'm glad Emma is ok
Jamie Lea
PS
I added a new photo of DS5 from last weekend when we went to Houston. The picture is taken inside the hotel lobby, those are live swans! Very nice hotel that was paid for by the Military
Crunch Time
We are heading out on our crazy road trip early Saturday morning.

Jackie, how was the lobster? Yum, I love it! I'm jealous
Jamielea, I'm curious about the bedding-did the boys pick it out? My guys need some but they think everything looks "girly." I did buy some fabric to make them quilts, but no progress in that department.
Have a super week all!
