Things to do in Houston???

I'm trying to come up with ideas for things to do with young children in Houston. We moved here 2 and 1/2 years ago and I feel like I haven't taken advantage of all of the cool things you can do with kids here. We've done the children's museum and the Museum of Natural History, but not much else. We also (very quickly) did the rodeo this year.

I know there are some Houston folks, (Jana and Kelly, I think) and surely some lurkers... please help if you have any ideas!

I've printed it out and already have plans to start heading out to some of the places. Lately, it has been so darn HOT though, I've just wanted to stay inside in the air-conditioning! Will it ever rain again? Thanks again!---Kay
