Wal-mart Question
When I got home, I noticed that I had an extra bag of stuff worth about $20 (I won't give any excuses why I shopped Wal-mart
) Our Wal-mart has these annoying rotating bag holders and you have to put the bags back in your cart by yourself. DD9 was helping out and therefore I didn't catch the extra bag until we got home.
I called Wal-mart customer service and they kept me on hold for about 10 minutes. I called back and was told that nobody had reported any missing bags and that I should bring the items back to Wal-mart. They would note the items in a book and the customer could reclaim them with a receipt. Well... When I was missing a bag, nobody told me about "the book". I was told "Sorry, don't have it" and that was it. Even if someone had called later, I would have never known. I am really reluctant to take the items back to Wal-mart so they can resell the stuff and make twice the profit. The things have already been paid for by someone. I am thinking about either donating them to a women's shelter (it's name brand personal care products) or returning them to Wal-mart for an "exchange", get cat/dog food instead, and donate it to the animal shelter. Any opinions on this?

Donate the items to a homeles
Donate the items to a homeless shelter or emergency domestic violence shelter etc, if they are women's items. If they are men's items you can donate to homeless shelters or disabled vet groups. Good Idea...

Ah, lovely WalMart.
Donate the items.
Y'all already know how I feel about Wal-Mart, though I'm not going to bust anyone's chops for shopping there. Just know who you're giving your money to and what you're supporting. That's all.
