Any "Late Bloomer" Moms?

I'm wondering if there are any Moms out there who were "late bloomers"? Like, having your first child after age 35? I have finally felt peace about trying to conceive now that I'm better adjusted to our DD5, adopted almost 2 years ago. I am 37, as is DH. I'm healthy and a tad overweight. No blood pressure problems, female problems, etc. Out of the blue about two weeks ago, I just had this "feeling" that it was the right time now to have a baby and I shouldn't fight it. I feel like not having a bio until we adopted is "the plan". Sounds stupid when I type it out, but it is just a peaceful, very content feeling I have. And I feel that if we do not conceive, that will be OK too.
Any thoughts?

Me!
I had Josie at age 36 and Lou just shy of my 40th birthday. I'm very much a late bloomer mom, in fact I often think of apologizing to everyone who had anything to do with me before age 35. Having kids just grew me up, almost overnight. Better late than never.

Nothing concrete
but I'm a great believer in going with your instincts Vonnie, so give it a try.

Thanks
Thanks, Lynn and Kerri. I am truly at peace with whatever the outcome might be. If we don't have a baby, I am happy & content with my precious DD5. And if we do, well, then I'll feel like the most blessed Mom on the face of the earth! I am not "putting all of my eggs in one basket" with THIS month, but it was a coincidence to me that the month we decided to actually try again, would be the same month (36 years ago) that my parents conceived me. A baby conceived now would be due really close to my birthday! That would be cool, but I am certainly not counting on that to seal the deal, so to speak!
Thanks again & I'll keep you guys posted!
