Hello everyone, my name is Candice and I am a new member, i just joined. I stumbled across this website while trying to find out information about how people without a gallbladder live post its removal. (lynn has no gallbladder), and so i hence found this, her amazing site. I have never been part of anything like this, and while i live outside of the great USA (I'm from Melbourne Australia) i have a deep interest in this community and what it has to offer. I hope to make friends on this site and share some of the knowledge about homemaking that i have. Although i am onl 25, i myself run a household. I look forward to chatting with you, and developing closely with the website!

welcome Candice!
I don't think we have any other Australians who post regularly right now, but we have a number of non-Americans. We just translate our recipe measurements and all goes well!
did you read the Forum Guidelines yet?
Lynn, who runs this site, has them at http://www.thenewhomemaker.com/forum/122.
Again, welcome!
Welcome!
I love hearing about Australia! Sounds like a neat place, and I love the accents!
Welcome Candice
Looking forward to getting to know you. I have friends in Australia, would love to visit them but I hate to fly, oh well.
Again welcome.

if you're quick (ie. before June) you can always stopover in Singapore and come see me!!
Hi Candice. Our previous Aussie representative, Sue, seems to have gone MIA for a few months so it's nice to have you. Makes me feel a bit less lonely over this side of the globe. I'm actually a Brit, and moving back soon after ten years in Singapore.
I never knew Lynn has no gallbladder. Did I?? Not sure. We've somehow managed to acquire a whole bunch of sickies on this site - I guess because people do searches likeyou did and we pop up.
Anyway, it's a great community, so welcome, and I hope you'll stick around a while and get to know us!
Kerri.
Welcome! Welcome!

No gallbladder, here, either!
I had mine removed in November of 1990.....I've never missed it!
Hi Candice, Welcome to TNH.... (I think Sue, our most recent contributor from "down under," has a new grandbaby...which may be what has kept her away recently)
Join us in the Forums...we've been rather "quiet" there lately...we're usually a chatty bunch. I think some of us have the mid-winter doldrums. Anyways, I look forward to seeing you around!
Blessings,
Lenora

I am only a week post its removal and after a month of hell am glad to not have to be like an obsessed woman when it comes to eating. It seemed that even the slightest fat content would set of a bout of the most excruciating pains. And as i said the only reason i came across this site was because Lynn had hers removed and had written a bit about it. I was originally looking for information of how to manage post its removal and i was fortunate enough to stumble across this website and well, the rest is history. I would also like to thank everyone for being so welcoming to me, I feel really supported and i hope to make a few friends here...
Thanks everyone!
