Sorry Honey, but it isn't the big 30... that would be last year!
I had a lovely day which started with sound of small scurrying feet, much giggling and sneezing followed by loud shushing... the kids had a wide range of presents for me, mostly homemade.
We had lunch at DS' favourite place (Pizza Hut) to guarantee they ate a reasonable amount so we didn't have to worry about whether my SIL fed them or not in the evening while we went out! Then we had a pastry and a drink in a German bakery-cum-café, and were totally stuffed. Shame really because we had already planned to order a large platter of sausages and roasted meats in a fancy German restaurant-cum-microbrewery that evening. Sadly dinner wasn't up to scratch. Still, we had a nice slow window shopping expedition late that evening... bought a couple of birthday presents for DS but mostly pressure-free, children-free window shopping! Made a change!
the spa treatments were just too expensive sadly, but we're off to Bali for Chinese New Year, so maybe I'll get them then!
I think you guys must be early! I'm guessing Cari bumped into my birth date whilst digging around for other stuff, and Julie, like me, doesn't pay attention to dates sometimes on posts!

Happy Birthday, Kerri. I actually have a note all written and sealed up and ready to send to you, but I lost your address (usefully written on a slip of paper!). However, now I have found it. Where? In the cutlery drawer, OBVIOUSLY!!!
I wasn't eating or drinking because that really would have messed up the keyboard!!
please note everyone that my birthday was back in November, so just because this thread keeps popping up doesn't mean you all have to rush and wish me a happy birthday. The last one was great, and I hope the next one will be even better!!
