I know we all have Veterans we are remembering today.
For me, I'm so grateful that my dad came home from Vietnam alive and whole.
I'm also grateful to the service of my DH's great uncle Ray Willis, who served in WWII and Korea. He fought in the thick of it and was so proud of his service. When he died just a few days after 9/11/2001, the military portion of his funeral was so moving, and there was nary a dry eye as we sang "America."
Of course, thanks again to the military families here at TNH, like Jamielea, Rose, and Karin. (I know that's not all, sorry!)
