Recipe organizer software?

Submitted by Rooney on Tue, 11/09/2004 - 2:49pm.

I have organized all my recipes down to one large pile! I have a notebook, and want to organize using my computer. I have searched a bit on line. There is one called Cook'n Recipe, it looks like it might fit the bill. But wanted to know what ya'll use and loved or hated.

I use MasterCook, but I think

I use MasterCook, but I think it's pretty similar. I love it! I put all my recipes in there (as I get the chance), and then I can automatically scale the recipes to fit the exact number of servings I want, create menus and shopping lists, search for recipes by keyword, and even get nutritional information! It's great.

I just print out the one I want to use and put it on the counter when I'm cooking. Since the original is in my computer, it doesn't matter if it gets wet, covered with gunk or anything. I just throw it away when I'm done.

Maybe someday I'll have a PC in the kitchen and I won't even have to do that..... Smiling
