We found out yesterday that DH is being deployed to Afghanistan. We don't know exactly when yet, still waiting to find out. He'll be there for 12 to 18 months, this is something we new could happen but still a bit of a shock. (he's 6 months from retirement) I pray for his safe return and I pray that I'm half the woman Karin was while her DH was away. Those who do please say a prayer for us. I want to be strong but at the same time I want to cry, and have. I know this is his job and I know my job is to be strong while he's away, I just pray I can do my job. All prayers and good thoughts welcome.
