Shameless Brutality

Anhata's picture

The Sudanese Army has perpertrated yet another crime today, denying humanitarian aid to Darfur refugees. And that's not the least of it. According to a CNN report, the humanitarian workers are afraid that the army is doing this in preparation for a forced relocation of these people to unprotected villages, which are not yet safe from the Janjaweed--the government sponsored rapists, torturers, and murderers--intent on genocide. To date, over a million people displaced, 70,000 murdered.

How many must be systematically raped, tortured, and/or murdered before the people of the world stand up and say, "No more, never again!"?

If you haven't already, add all the peoples of Sudan and the aid workers to your prayers. They need it so badly.

Amen to that!

Again we see the effectiveness of the U.N. so clearly demonstrated.

Some of the stories coming out of the Sudan over the past few years have been horrific. We really need to intervene.
