Undergoing a paradigm shift in regards to reward & punishment, praise v.s. acknowledgment with children. Read an article [1] by a person named Alfie Kohn that is making me really, really think. I'm reading up on Compassionate Communication which is where this is coming from. It seems that praising children isn't what I thought it was. Hmmmm. What do you think?
