Heartbreaking
I was really praying for that little girl's safe return. I feel so badly for her family.

Me too, Susannah
I'm just so sad for her and for her parents. And I'm trying my best not to let it get to me in some irrational way -- like being afraid for my kids to play in their own back yard without me watching every second. Normally, I'm sensible and safe. But in the wake of these things, I become too fearful.
Sigh.
A reminder
If you've never read Protecting the Gift, or haven't read it lately, now is a very good time. It's one way we can take action, by keeping our own babies safe. It can also ease your anxiety. It's a scary but empowering book.
