Ethiopia Sponsorship--News About Our Girl

Today I received a newsletter from AHOPE detailing what they have been doing for the past few weeks to reestablish their connection with the former ENAT House, which is now AHOPE Ethiopia. I also received updated information on our girl and a lovely picture (she looks great!). I will, within the next few days, post the text of the newsletter on this site. I will have my husband update the information on our personal website (if you have contributed to the sponsorship, email me at tricksyhobbit@donet.com for the URL) and post the new picture.

I have had 8-10 people (don't remember the exact amount) tell me that they are going to donate this year, but as of yet I have received money from only one. The deadline for getting the money to me is August 20. Email me if you need information on how to get the money to me (PayPal or snail mail).

The information I received about our girl stated that she would like to have a doll. I will take her a doll when I visit her this fall while I am in Ethiopia to bring home my son. If anyone would like to contribute money for the doll, please let me know.
