The CDC says women are waiting longer than ever to have their first child: The agency says in a new study that women are on average 25.1 years old before they have their first child, an all-time high. Main contributors: A drop in births to teenagers and more women waiting until their 30s and 40s to start families. Yrs trly didn't have Josie til I was 36, and I had Lou just a few days before I turned 40.
