Death of a Superstar Whale

Honorary Oregonian Keiko the whale has died [1]: Keiko, who's been living in a Norwegian fjord entertaining the locals for the last couple of years, died Friday of pneumonia. It was quick, the vets say. Keiko was about 26, which for a captive orca is ancient; wild killer whales live to be 35-50 years old, but in captivity they usually die by age 25.

I have to confess to an evil thought, though, upon reading that they weren't sure what to do with the body. The following haiku appeared in my brain:

superstar whale dies
how to dispose of Keiko?
paging Paul Linnman [2]!

So old Willy is finally free. Bye, Keiko, we'll miss you.
