**WARNING!** Don't forget to leave the crib railing up!
Emma's just fine, but this morning in the wee hours she decided to start practicing her pulling up. Unfortunately I had left the crib railing down. She got her neck over it and lost her footing; we heard her choking and luckily DH was up and around and rescued her immediately. It's so easy to be forgetful or neglectful with disastrous results! From now on, I am leaving the railing up, no exceptions, for fear I'll forget. I'm sure others are wiser than me, but I thought I'd post a reminder to be on the safe side. She is such a sweet, happy, bright little thing. I couldn't live without her!

Thank goodness!
I'm glad Emma's okay. How are YOU doing this morning? Everyone has these close calls, and safety reminders are always appropriate.

So glad she's okay
Wow!
I leave mine down on purpose just because it is easier to get baby in and out. Only this morning it was up for some reason and I put it back down thinking "there that's better." Then I read this...it's up again and there it will stay!
So glad she is OK.
Love,
Kelly
