I'm always worried another east-coaster will be starting the new thread at the same time.
Shaun, I wanted to respond to your post, because I know that "am I feeding them?" anxiety so very well.
I had a baby that plateau-ed around 6-9 mos. of age (no weight gain at all) and she's just fine and healthy now at age 5-almost-6, although still a picky eater. At the time, I increased nursing sessions and upped her baby food intake; I don't know if that's possible for Iris. Will she still eat baby food from the jar? Whatever it takes. Those Gerber bananas are pretty yummy. I mixed them with everything.
I don't know if she's weaned to regular milk yet, but I mixed Anna Kate's with follow-up formula to sweeten it a bit (she was a bottle-fed baby) and slowly reduced the ratio till she was drinking all milk. She wouldn't take it straight at first. All of my kids like it straight now, or as chocolate milk. Sometimes I think they are surviving on milk.
All of my children (except Emma) have been on the lower end of the charts too. But then DH and I are not very big people. It's not unusual for siblings to differ either. And of course, you remember J.D.'s saga. He got sick at the same time he was teething and didn't eat anything at all for a couple of weeks (just before 18 mos. of age). He lost some weight as a result and that's how we ended up in that ridiculous speech therapy. He ended up gaining it back and has been gaining ever since (and I don't believe the therapy had anything to do with it...toddlers do that sort of thing around 12-18 mos. when transitioning to table foods). He's always been small, just like his dad was. Right now I would guess he isn't any bigger than 26 lbs. at age 2.5!
Is Iris doing better today? Why did she have to go to urgent care?
DH is taking my van today so it's yet another week where I have to cancel therapy. I'm going to go ahead and ask them to give my appointment to someone else. It seems rude to keep calling and begging off week after week. I think it's been at least 6-7 weeks now.
J.D. has these weird little bumps appearing all over his legs, and one big one on his arm that looks almost like a blister or a small boil. DH thinks they are bug bites, but I noticed what looked like some emerging ones, and anyway he wasn't outside yesterday...although it's possible there are bugs inside since I've been keeping the windows open. Arg! I do not need another medical mystery!
Finally, I wanted to offer my condolences to Shaun on having an awful Mother's Day. I'm so sorry! Wish I could bring you truffles myself. Or maybe you'd prefer a good-quality beer!
OT post! I think we should plan a cyber-happy hour!
Shaun....HUGS!
Susannah...have your kiddos had "Fifth's disease?" There seems to have been an outbreak up here. There are five childhood viral rashes: Measles, mumps, rubella, chickenpox....and the "fifth" one is "Fifth's disease." My dd9 had it at about age 3, I think...I had never heard of it. Recently, a friend of mine got it...like most of them, its fairly mild for children and HARD on adults
Susannah~ Could the bumps be an allergic reation to something? Thats my only guess?!?
I have a lot to do today! We went to the beach yesterday, so everthing is covered in sand! It was a pretty nice mothers day. The only thing that wasn't too fun was DH. He was pretty grumpy yesterday. He did go out of his way to make me have a better day but I think he was having a "funk".

I think two or three of my children have had fifth's disease, but for the life of me I can't remember which two or three. Okay, it's pretty safe to say Anna Kate (#1) has had it and Emma (#5) has not. I'm going to conclude that J.D.'s bumps are indeed bug bites. They don't seem to be spreading. Whew!
I need to get my tail out of this chair and start working. No more getting sidetracked by the computer!

Mother's Day was OK, but kinda weird. We did church and then DH and I went for a 9 mile run. My knee was KILLING me by the time we were done, so I spent some time icing it. All of a sudden it was 5 o'clock and we hadn't done delivery for my mom and MIL. We did that and then DH made dinner: grilled steak, salad, potato salad for the kids. Then I watched Survivor!?! I don't have any idea why, I never watch TV. Odd. Then I went to bed way too late.
TADA

Shaun, I also have a picky eater who is way smaller than her sibs. She did, however, have a growth spurt at age almost three, growing from size 18 month to size 5T(slim) in approx. 8 months this past year. I did despair for awhile though, especially when everyone had to tell me daily how tiny she was. Aarrgghh.
Susannah, DS13 used to get hives whnever he was fighting off a virus. The Dr. said it was a fairly common immune system response. Looks bad, but harmless. If they started in the armpits and inner thighs, and then spread, it could be chickenpox.
Okay, today's the day I take full distribution on my retirement account. I've got butterflies in my stomach. I don't know why; it's only money. Maybe knowing the IRS is going to get so much of it. This will put us back on the straight and narrow, now that DH is re-employed.
PODA:
*Homeschool
*Call Benefits Center
*Call library about missing book (I should have done this a week ago)
*Call friend about getting a new yearbook
*Putter around 15 min. at a time
It's one of those days I can't think straight. Not much sleep last night. I think my conscience was bad because I went to bed with a dirty kitchen. Not to mention environmental factors such as a cat who couldn't decide which side of the bedroom door she belonged on, an insomniac husband who decided to clipper his hair at 2:30 a.m., and so on.
How are you, Shaun? Hope everybody is feeling better.
Love,
Susannah

I am just popping by between tasks -- heading to the library soon, just got Iris off to bed. Poor thing is still sick, but better.
I met with someone who sells Melaleuca this morning. I am so not into that whole direct, multi-level marketing thing, but I am into the natural products. I think my husband will think I've gone off the deep end -- and maybe I have!
I am feeling a bit better, and thanks for all the words of wisdom, guys. I am looking forward to our next Dr. visit, although we may have to postpone. I don't want to do the immunizations if Iris is still below par. I'll call the Dr. later this week and see what she says.
I had a pretty productive day yesterday: quick-mopped the bathroom and kitchen, got a lot of clothes put away, did some freelance work even. Not bad considering the power was out! Man alive -- did I mention that we were two blocks north of the eye of a near-tornado (no touchdown, but devastating winds nonetheless). DH was outside closing up the grill in the rain when he heard the "freight train" sound of a tornado coming. We only had minor roof damage -- the next block is much worse, with huge old trees totally uprooted along with half of the yard. Driving around yesterday I felt really lucky -- got me out of my funk a bit, thinking that at least nothing had come through our roof! And luckily the car was in the garage, so it missed the hail damage -- although it was a trick to get it out the next day with no electricity!
welcome Lark(Joanne)! You will feel right at home here,I am sure.
Shaun-glad Iris is a little better. Wow,what a scare with the tornado. Like you said it could have been alot worse. We had a pine uproot last month during a high wind as well.
Susannah-sleep deprivation is usually associated with babies getting up at night but in your case it is cats and husbands, huh??? LOL
Hope you get a chance to put your feet up before bedtime. Your catepillar lessons seem great. Today while planting flowers,DD3 found a small frog and lots of worms. Here is my daughter in a flowered sundress, ribbons in her hair, and mud up to her elbows!!!! That's my kind of girl!

Tomorrow night DS9 has his Spring Concert at school for the third grade and to commemorate the event,he woke up this morning with his first pimple! This kid looks 11 or so because he is tall and generally well-behaved but at 9 to get a pimple? This means puberty is around the corner. YUK! I'll do diapers,2am nursing sessions, runny noses, vomit in my hair,etc...but I don't want to do the whole Puberty/teenage thing. UGGGGGHHHHH

The middle of the day is wide open and I plan to keep it that way! Been a busy last 3-4 days and would like a day to stay home and hang out with DD3. Make cookies? Ride bikes? Take dog for walk? Possibilities,possibilities....
Wednesdays are "my day" as I don't have office hours. I have to check my voice mail and return calls, but nothing heavy-duty. DD goes to dayschool 8:30 to 12:00 noon, so I get to have the morning. Of course, I have a few things I still have to do during that time. I've been up since 5 a.m., though, so I have a head start on things.
PODA:
* Make corn for funeral and take to church)
* Laundry (I've done all but two loads so far)
* Run dishwasher (it's going right now)
* Put dinner in crockpot
* Put disposable camera in to be developed
Not too bad. DD will take a nap after lunch, too, so that will give me an hour or two to sit on the deck and soak up some rays.
Looks like today will be the last day for kitchen renovations! YAAAAY! I still need to put down some tile in the foyer (between the door and the kitchen) and then I can get my kitchen (and the rest of my home .. and my life!!!) back into some semblance of order.
Lots to do, flap flap flap! Happy flying everyone.
I forced myself to do my work before logging on today.
Welcome to Flybabies, Joanne! We are glad you joined us. Sounds like you're flying really well.
Jo, you could have been posting for both of us yesterday. I did not accomplish a thing! Well, I played around online, sniped an eBay auction (yippee for me), read a couple of chapters from a couple of books and...our science curriculum came in the mail! I can't wait to sit and read the teacher's manual.
Last night, I pulled up under a burdened conscience and managed to get the kitchen clean, but left the LR. This morning, I set the timer and picked up in LR, then vacuumed as girls were getting dressed. We did our homeschooling and have had lunch. So far, so good.
Need to switch laundry, make a couple calls, read that manual, package up some fling, take all the fling to the car, and maybe get to the bank before it closes to deposit a check.
Bed's not made yet; put that at the top of the list.
I wish I were a Straight Guy so the Fab Five could come fix my house up!
Vonnie, I know what you mean about getting to used to tornado warnings. Living in South Dakota as a kid, I didn't think too much about them either -- summer was tornado season, and there were warnings all the time. And I've always secretly believed that urban areas couldn't get a tornado!
Jo, I had to laugh about the "attitude adjustment." That phrase has just one meaning for me. Back in the grad school days, living in Ann Arbor, I had a housemate who would occasionally say, "Who needs an attitude adjustment," meaning "Who wants to smoke a joint with me?" Is it any surprise that while living in that house I swore off all kinds of smoking for life? Anyway, I'm assuming you adjusted your attitude legally.
Anyway, my DR needs some help -- it serves lots of functions but is set up poorly for most of them. It is my sometimes-office, the bill-paying zone, the craft zone, the scrapbooking zone, and the eating zone (we don't have an eat-in kitchen, so the formal dining room is also the highly informal dining room). I think with proper storage this would be OK. We just don't have it -- we need furniture, and we don't have the $$$!
Not much has happened today beyond freelance work and buying birthday presents for a friend's son. Oh, and going to church mothers group -- a good meeting today, more ladies than usual and some good conversation. My friend who leads it is an awesome woman, but I don't always find the readings she offers inspiring!
OK, now I am just procrastinating -- dinner and clean-up awaits. Maybe I'll procrastinate by playing with DD1 (tomorrow's the big day!) on the floor instead!
Well, it seems like I have rotated around a little and am posting my once-a-day in the morning instead of the evening. No problem. As long as I am keeping it limited to once a day, that meets my goal.
Yes, it is Thursday & I am ready for the weekend. We have a fun one planned with a family reunion where FIL's family will meet DD for the first time. If the weather holds, we'll get to fish and play volleyball, too. Fingers are crossed!
I actually woke up this morning thinking it was Friday! Wishful thinking, I suppose!
Today's PODA:
* Work at office 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. (try to leave at 1:30 for a change!)
* Get DH a new cell phone
* Pick up document at courthouse for work before going in
* Update checkbook (important b/c we're getting close)
* Vacuum floors while my mom has DD
* Laundry
I also want DH and I to get some things together to take Saturday so we don't forget anything. And I need to make a short grocery list of food to take to reunion.
Oh, I wanted to welcome Joann! I get tunnel vision sometimes when I post and I forget things I wanted to say other than my PODA and TADAs! Sometimes I think I have adult ADD.
Well, everyone have a great day. I hope to, myself! Talk to you tomorrow!
It's nice that you can be moderate in your habits. Unlike some of us.
I just want to post a big PODA to inspire myself. The next two days are going to be bizzzzzy!
today:
make lemon bars for moms retreat
write donation letter for coffee for moms retreat
write evaluation for moms retreat
freelance work
laundry
dry cleaners (gotta clean Easter dress for DD5s first-ever piano recital next week!!)
make calls to arrange key pickup for retreat
talk to retreat leader about fee ( we have a $200 misunderstanding, and I am the liaison. Yuck!)
Tomorrow will be pasta salad, quiches, lemonade, and iced tea.
This retreat better be relaxing! Because right now it is really stressing me out!
...for all you working and WAHM's who also volunteer for things! Shaun, you deserve to have *no* responsibilities during this retreat. I can't even bear to put some phone calls on my PODA; just the sight of them makes me want to procrastinate big time. That $200 glitch sounds like no fun. It's nice there are people like you who organize things. If the world were run by people like me, well, it wouldn't run.
I have to call and see if it's still possible to do a b-day party at Chuck-E-Cheese's in a couple of weekends. I've put that off too long now. Also, I still haven't called the library. And I'm late on the insurance payment for the kids, so we may be cancelled for a month.
We had playdate here this morning, so no formal homeschooling. Just call it socialization 101. I'm supposed to be fixing lunch for the kids right now.
DH landscaped a little more last night, but he busted a sewage line so I have to hold off on doing laundry or running the DW. I sure hope he fixes it first thing after he gets off work today.
Feeling down today, for some reason! Overwhelmed by my piles, maybe? Oh well, I'll straighten out. 15 min. at a time.

Susannah

Hello to everyone else
Dd is watching a video and then will take a nap. I hope to read the paper and think up dinner.
I'm packing today, to take a red-eye to my high school reunion tonight. It's probably insane of me to travel for this, but I am going to anyway. So that's the PODA-- pack and do homework. And get dressed, fed, etc.
DH claims he might straighten up around the house while I'm gone. I'd be in favor of that!
Happy birthday Iris! Many happy returns of the day, sweet baby!
I came back to post my TA DAs, since I actually do have a few this afternoon:
*Called about insurance and worked it out
*Wrote the check to the insurance and sealed envelope
*Called library. They found the missing book there! Whew!
*Reserved the party online
DH is home. Later!

Have Fun,Becky! I have never been to my reunion but would if it wasn't all the way back in Florida.
Susannah-way to go on taking care of all those calls. Getting to them always seems like more of a chore. Bring earplugs and valium to Chuck E Cheese,I give you credit for going there!
I attempted to mow the lawn only to get the tractor stuck in the mud. DH will have a blast pushing it out tonight! If you hear screaming tonight,it would be my DH.
Corn on the cob is boiling away in the pot, burgers are going on the grill as soon as I sign off and then the whole evening routine begins.....
*Cleaned cat pan
*Cleaned guest bathroom toilet
*Deposited check
*Picked up milk & sale paper towels at store
*Cleaned up kitchen; ran 2 DW loads
*Stacked diapers, folded a few clothes & put away
*Bedtime with kids
*Matched a whole bunch of sock pairs in the sock basket
*Picked up toys in LR
Ha! My reasoning on Chuck-E-Cheese's is that once it's done I have a real good excuse for not doing it again. Also, I'm doing 2 birthdays with one noisy party, since the girls' birthdays are nine days apart and they both wanted it there. Even tho' it's a more expensive venue for a b-day party, it's probably a better value than doing 2 separate ones at home with my own cakes, balloons, favors, etc. Certainly less exhausting.
Nitey nite!
Love
Susannah

Or, maybe that's not a good visualization to start off a Friday! LOL!
Had a great time IM-ing with Julie last night. Any of you "oldtimers" remember her? She is so funny and smart!
Well, yes, it is FINALLY Friday & I intend to make it a good one. My PODA:

Basically an easy day. Plan on taking DD3 to the beach next week with friends. It would be her first time, I am sure she will enjoy it alot.
Weekend is pretty open which is nice since last weekend was busy. Maybe we will go out to eat one night. There is a new Mexican rest. that just opened. Yum.
Julie-lemme think...did she work in a chocolate shop and an inn? If so,yes I remember her back when I started being a flybaby myself.
Susannah-glad that you got some more stuff accomplished, must feel good. Have fun with your out of town guest. Is she(he) from college?
Andrea- how did the recital go. It was a recital right?!?
Better hit the shower before the thunderstorm hits.
Heidi - the recital is tomorrow at noon - thanks for asking! I'm not working today because I have a Dr. appt. to see if I can get this virus cleared up - I am sick of being sick!
Haven't heard from Julie in some time - nice you got to chat with her Vonnie!
Im going through TNH withdrawls so I HAD to come peek my head in today!
Sounds like everyones been busy. MY DS9 birthday was yesterday so had a quiet family night with cake. This Sunday Im taking them to a water park with slides/wave pool. It should be fun.
I had to go bathing suit shopping. I hated it. That would be a great torture technic for women. Forget sleep deprivation, make them go bathing suit shopping in a room full of mirrors! UUUGGHHH
Sorry about your night Joanne.
Hows the thunderstorm effect a shower Heidi? Very few thunderstorms in So Cal.
Hope you all have a good day!
Amee
Amee-I agree completely...bathing suit shopping ranks up there with the worst of things! The water park sounds like fun, though. Happy birthday to your DS.
Visited DH grandma today. The place she is in now is nice but she is unhappy. I feel for her but at this point she needs to stay there until a bed opens at the asst living place she was previously at before going to the hospital.
Then I took DD3 to lunch at the mall, ride the carousel, and walk around.
we are home(obviously) and she is napping. I am gonna fold the wash from this morning and think of dinner. Maybe we will eat out tonight?
I have internet access for a few minutes here. Susannah I am not that young! This is my 2nd (10-year) reunion. I'm seeing other friends in the area too. Any flybabies near Boston who want to get together,e-mail me and maybe we can figre soethn out I hate this keyboard.
Becky, if you mean that you are attending your 10-year high school reunion, meaning that you graduated from high school in 1994, then you are young indeed! Under 30 and not young? Ha! But I don't recall you being much older than me, so I don't think you're at your 20-year. Are you?
(We don't do 5-year reunions, hence the confusion.)
I need to have a big cleaning/organizing day today, so here I am to set it down in black and white. Ahh, accountability...

DS12 thoroughly cleaned and then rearranged his room. He is so excited and motivated to work on other parts of the house too. Excellent.
I've not even maintained since company yesterday. My mom came over today and we had lunch with her (picked up rotisserie chickens at the store and ate leftover veggies and cuke-tomato salad). The house is wrecked and all adults are napping but me. Also, one baby. I can't nap; the kids have an inner "wake mommy" function that sends off alarms anytime I fall asleep during daylight hours. I am, however, napping in spirit.
I want to start straightening up, but the flesh is weak. Church was good today and best of all, DH went with me. We have a minister from India & his family visiting with our pastor. It was a very sweet meeting, heartfelt love for one another & for the Lord. Both the boys seemed to do well in their class. That has not always been the case, particularly with Elias.
Can't get to hotmail, but I hope that corrects itself soon, as I have auctions to close.
Love y'all!

Good-morning,
I thought I would jump on board and intoduce myself. I have been following along for quite a while. You all give me encouragement when I read how much you all accomplish in a day!!!
I am a stay at home mom with a 21 year old and 15 year old and a very spoiled Yorkie. I have been following flylady for a few months now and I think things are better. (though that could change at any moment!!lol).
I thought if I posted a to do list I would be more accountable.
So today :
-mail parcel
-pick up bus tickets
-finish a small closet rescue
-make some important calls (that I have put off)
-prep work for dinner
I am looking forward to posting and getting to know you all!
Glad to hear you escaped any significant damage. I though I was the only flybaby who lived in "Tornado Alley"! I have 1. Had trees thrown on my house by 3 criss-crossing tornadoes 2. Raced a tornado home (watching it in my rear-view mirror all the way) to take care of newborn puppies and 3. watched a tornado follow the river, jumping around the whole way. Some of my northern friends are just horrified, but I think because we have so many watches and warnings, we get a little "numb" to it; which is bad, also!
Thank-you for the welcome!I always enjoy this site I have picked so many great ideas! Many warm thanks to Lynne for all her work.
Heidi, I have survived one teen who is now 21 in college and a fifteen year old daughter who right in the middle of the teen years! You will survive most important keep a sense of humour!!lol If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask.
I woke this morning to a continuing snowstorm! This does not help my gardening. It is hard to get motivated with a blizzard outside the window! Well at least it will melt soon (fingers crossed). This list worked well for me yesterday so I try again today,
PODA:
-start laundry
-plan dinner (something for a cold snowy day in May?!!!)
-quick tidy up
-continue to make phone calls I did not get to yesterday
-pick up a few things at Walmart
Just a quick check in while I am having my water break! I live in Alberta Canada it seems like this weather system is just socked in here I wish it would go far far away. But it great weather for the farmers who are counting on the moisture.
So far today :
- made calls waiting for call-backs
-started on laundry just waiting for the dryer
-menu plan for dinner (dreaded job each day)
Thank-you for the welcome Susannah! I am enjoying checking in here during the day. Shaun ,I would like the Fab Five to drop in my house I would love Ted to take over my kitchen. I also have a formal dining room but so often I think what a waste of space I just bought the new Oprah home magazine and there was a picture of a dining room with wall to wall built in book shelves it looked great. Though we may be moving again and lots of out things will be in storage.I would like those book shelves we have so many books in this house! Off to have dinner and tidy up. Our family are avid hockey fans and our city's team is playing the play-offs The Calgary Flames!!!We have a game tomorrow night.
Hello, I am a day late on my posting my list I guess that is why I am a Flybaby!!! The snow has melted there is only a little left around the city but we may get rain which could turn to snowshowers over the night! I would love to have some warm weather. I hope you have fun at your reuion Becky I went to mine a few years ago and it was lots of fun.
Today I have to put my house in some order I was out all day today running errands and things just fell apart.
_empty dish-washer re-load
-finish laundry out clothes away (why do I hate these job?)
-plan meals for the weekend

Susannah, we used to have a Chuckie-Cheese in Calgary my kids used to love birhday parties there.
Well this one of these mornings that I did not want to get up I had a horrible sleep last night. No real reason.
Today:
-that continuing laundry
-drive DD to school
-tidy house (this should take a while)
-wait for phone calls to be returned
Good news, no snow last night! The sun is shining this morning.
Oh I almost forgot my worst, job menu planning! Has anyone subscribed to Leanne's menu mailer? Or does have her book? I think I could get her book or order one at the bookshop.I thought it would give me some much needed motivation.
I cook for a 21 year who loves junk no spicies and a crazy college and work schedual, a 15 year old who does like evrything and my DH who is waiting for gall-bladder surgery so a very bland diet is what he needs. I like everything. Any ideas you ladies I would love to hear.
Will check in later have a great day with all your activities.
Thanks to Kelly! I love the recipes I've tried out of it already. Twice I have shopped according to Leanne's menu. Shopping's a lot easier using her pre-made shopping list, although it's more expensive for me. However, the delicious meals are well worth it! If I had the money, I'd do it again this coming week. Alas, it's back to cooking from the cupboards until the next influx of cash. Once we start receiving a regular paycheck again, I will be using her book regularly.
She does include some spicy recipes, but you never know...you might convert your picky eater and I suppose you could accommodate your husband's diet by simply setting his portion aside before adding spices. The blackened salmon we had this past week was wonderful and it had a very spicy mix rubbed into it which could be left off one of the fillets if need be.
The greatest honor we can give Almighty God is to live gladly because of the knowledge of his love. --Julian of Norwich
I will try to find her book today we have the Flylady's book here so Leanne's must not be far behind! My husband loves salmon so that would be a good recipe for us. I met the Flylady about two years ago in Calgary she was here for a talk and a book signing she didn't have as many things to sell as she does now. I did buy one of the feather dusters and her book.
I just had a call from our church and they have decided to have a bque after the service Sunday. I have to bring either a desert or a salad any ideas?
I am going to try to post our family picture later today in my journal page actually I will have my son help me!

Morning!
Love you,
Susannah

Susannah...have your kiddos had "Fifth's disease?" There seems to have been an outbreak up here. There are five childhood viral rashes: Measles, mumps, rubella, chickenpox....and the "fifth" one is "Fifth's disease." My dd9 had it at about age 3, I think...I had never heard of it. Recently, a friend of mine got it...like most of them, its fairly mild for children and HARD on adults
Love to all!

Don't Worry

Mopey Monday
Mother's Day was OK, but kinda weird. We did church and then DH and I went for a 9 mile run. My knee was KILLING me by the time we were done, so I spent some time icing it. All of a sudden it was 5 o'clock and we hadn't done delivery for my mom and MIL. We did that and then DH made dinner: grilled steak, salad, potato salad for the kids. Then I watched Survivor!?! I don't have any idea why, I never watch TV. Odd. Then I went to bed way too late.
TADA
dinner: grilled pork chops, hash browns for the kids, asperagus.

Have a great evening all!

I haven't done as much as I wanted to do for the last couple of days. Low on energy lately. However, I have accomplished stuff.

Okay, today's the day I take full distribution on my retirement account. I've got butterflies in my stomach. I don't know why; it's only money. Maybe knowing the IRS is going to get so much of it. This will put us back on the straight and narrow, now that DH is re-employed.

Love,
Susannah

Hi Joanne!
OK, better run!
Shaun

I'll do diapers,2am nursing sessions,runny noses,vomit in my hair,etc...but I don't want to do the whole Puberty/teenage thing. UGGGGGHHHHH

My Day!

* Run dishwasher (it's going right now)
* Put dinner in crockpot

Not too bad. DD will take a nap after lunch, too, so that will give me an hour or two to sit on the deck and soak up some rays.
Have a good one, all!

A snowstorm!!!! Where do you live?????
Looks like today will be the last day for kitchen renovations! YAAAAY! I still need to put down some tile in the foyer (between the door and the kitchen) and then I can get my kitchen (and the rest of my home .. and my life!!!) back into some semblance of order.
Lots to do, flap flap flap! Happy flying everyone.

Afternoon!
Love,
Susannah

I need a DR makeover!

Shaun

Hi everyone!
Too busy to post much, but wanted to say hi! You're all doing great!

Hi all! Joanne, welcome! DH a
Hi all! Joanne, welcome! DH and I just had coffee with a friend from Calgary. (We are in Los Angeles-- he is in school here.)
Um. No flying today, only outside obligations and homework.
Workin' Toward the Weekend!
* Work at office 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. (try to leave at 1:30 for a change!)
* Get DH a new cell phone
* Pick up document at courthouse for work before going in
* Update checkbook (important b/c we're getting close)
* Vacuum floors while my mom has DD
* Laundry
Vonnie
Glad you're still checking in Vonnie!
Shaun
Heartfelt admiration from me...
...for all you working and WAHM's who also volunteer for things!

Reunion time
I'm packing today, to take a red-eye to my high school reunion tonight. It's probably insane of me to travel for this, but I am going to anyway. So that's the PODA-- pack and do homework. And get dressed, fed, etc.
DH claims he might straighten up around the house while I'm gone. I'd be in favor of that!
Oh how fun!
Have fun Becky! Is this your first reunion?

See you all tomorrow.
Heidi
A few more ta da's before bed.
Nitey nite!

UUUGGHHH

Not so young, ha!

Eating Jo's Dust...
Hoo-ee girl! You go!
Love y'all!
Susannah

Flybaby
Joanne (Lark)
Tornado Alley
Shaun,
Glad to hear you escaped any significant damage.

Good Morning
Good-Morning.
Have a great day everyone

Good-Morning ,
Just a quick check in while I am having my water break! I live in Alberta Canada it seems like this weather system is just socked in here I wish it would go far far away. But it great weather for the farmers who are counting on the moisture.
So far today :
- made calls waiting for call-backs
-started on laundry just waiting for the dryer
-menu plan for dinner (dreaded job each day)
Better run or fly I should say!

Good Afternoon everyone,
Thank-you for the welcome Susannah!
Have a great evening everyone

Hi Becky,

Good-Morning,
Well this one of these mornings that I did not want to get up I had a horrible sleep last night.
Joanne
Good-morning
Good-morning everyone,
Looks like it may be a nice day here today (no rain or snow). We are having a lazy morning in our house after a hectic week!Just a small list today:
-decide what to make for church b-que
-pop in at the vegetable market
-laundry (on-going)
-enjoy my family
Have a great Saturday everyone
Joanne
I have Saving Dinner!

Thank-you Susannah,
I will try to find her book today we have the Flylady's book here so Leanne's must not be far behind!
