Best pizza ever?

Today I had perhaps the best pizza ever, made by my mother- and father-in-law. It had a crisp crust and a cilantro pesto base with a touch of lime juice in it, and was topped with pecans, some sort of white cheese (cotija?), and very thin slices of green apple.

I know it probably sounds weird and awful -- I admit, I had my doubts -- but it is fantastic.

(I am so lucky in my in-laws, and not just because they are wonderful cooks.)
