Question about health and pg's

We believe in QF (obviously), however, I'm starting to get concerned about my health. My last full-term pg I had terrible swelling for the last 4 months, we tried everything (ie.brewer diet, etc) we were however able to go on with a home birth. I got pg again about 3 months ago and the severe swelling started right away, however, I miscarried 2 wks ago. My concern is I don't know how I can handle that kind of swelling again. My dr. said this was just do to having a lot of children right away...kind of my body's reaction to pgs now...

My question is has anyone else gone through this, and if so what did you do?
