modeling clay cheap easy fun
this is a well known formula but Ill post it just in case any of you havent tried it.It makes great modeling clay that keeps pretty good in air tight ziplock or storage containers and I have used the plastic bag bread comes in even.The kids love to make it and food coloring really gives unlimited color choices.It is also bakeable at 250 to 300 degrees until hard and dry and it can be easily painted or colored.One thing we do with it is make handprint impressions and bake them decorated would make a nice keepsake.Also for makeing tree ornaments or just as regular old play doh type substance for hours of entertainment and cleans up easy even in carpet and very safe even if consumed.
2 cup all purpose flour
1 cup salt
3/4 cup warm water
food color optional

knead it like bread dough until desired color and consistancy are reached.if you bake a precolored creation you can brush it with egg white to achive a gloss glaze.
A really fun game for ALL ages.
My kids and I play this game all the time. (I've even been tempted to try it by myself!
The first person lays on the floor on their back.
The next person lays on the floor on their back with the back of their head on the first persons tummy.
You do this until everyone is on the floor with their head on someones tummy (except the first person, their head is on the floor)
First person says "Ha!" , like a fake laugh.
The next person says "Ha Ha". You go around with everyone adding a "Ha" on their turn.
Before you know it you'll all be in a fit of giggles!!
This game is a great way to cheer the house up when someone ( or everyone ) is having a bad day!!
Just thinking about it makes me laugh!
