Riddley Walker by Russell Hoban.
Someone on the BookcrossingUK yahoo list is currently reading this book. I wondered what it was about and googled it, and got this link

a review that Mike wrote! What a small world.

Small world indeed
That page actually gets quite a few hits. I suspect most of them are students looking to crib for their book reports
I think that I will be joining the UK list.....
I had been invited to join ~ even though I am an American.

I find that I more closely align with Brit's in their ways of thinking ~ and I tend to be more formal in speech and thought pattern than most other American's I come across. (In America... LOL I have to admit ~ I come across A LOT of American's. Go figure.) *grin*
Besides ~ the BookCrossing Yahoo list (USA version) has lots of forms of nastiness running through it. Ick.
BookcrossingUK
I was on the US list for about a day, before I got fed up with the backbiting, so I know what you mean. If you join the UK one, you may just tempt me out of lurkdom, as I hardly ever post! I hardly post anywhere except here, really. I'm not sure why, I guess TNH just feels like home
