Well, good news! Kenny's dad is gonna pay for kenny to get his licensed and bonded! Now Kenny can start advertising for work! We are doing so badly right now. We're almost a week late on rent. (Luckily my land lady is very understanding), I'm not sure how I"m supposed to pay my water and garbage this month. I'm a month late on my health insurance, we need to pay our car insurance, and the list goes on. Frankly, we're dying for work.
Kenny would have gotten his ccb license, but his mom and step dad needed him to build their house out in Sandy, and it was cheaper for them if Kenny wasn't licensed, because as a family member he could do the plumbing and electric if he's wasn't licensed. If he'd had his CCB license he'd have had to hire a plumber and an electrician.
Right now I"m working on a flyer to hand out to our neighbors. He's been doing hard wood floors for about 15 years, and so we're running a 'sale' on hardwood floors. The going rate is $3.25 a sq ft, but kenny's willing to do it for $2.50 a sq ft, which is cheaper than anything people are gonna get anywhere else, if they want a quality floor. Kenny's really good (and I'm not just being biased - he's never had a complaint). He's a perfectionist that was trained by a perfectionist! I've gone and seen some of the floors he's done, and they were great! But when I tell him that he's all, no they aren't look! there's a dip and here's a bad spot. . . etc.. I can never see what he's talking about. I think he's just being persnickity. But people like pickyness when it comes to their floors.
Anyway, please pray that he gets some work. We really need it.
