You know, as much as a loathe Mr. Ashcroft's policies, hearing about what he's going through physically right now makes my toes curl in empathy.

I really hope that they're giving him a good diluadid (however the heck you spell it) line. GI pain is the worst. When I had a similar attack, not only did I think I was going to die, I wished I was already dead so that it would stop.

Poor guy. Sad

...Let alone Mr. Ashcroft. And I'm no fan to put it mildly. But yeah, gallstones--first you think you're dying then you wish you would, it's completely the right way to describe it. If there had been a gun nearby I would have shot myself. It's good they caught it when they did, because pancreatitis can be fatal.

of those gall stone victims who wished death would come quickly! Makes childbirth pain diminish in my memory.

...how it compared to childbirth. My MIL had this, right after her husband died too. How awful.
