Hi! I've been lurking for a week or so, and I want to say that this site looks really cool. I've noticed that you all are comfortable talking to eachother about everything. From the serious, to the not so serious, and I think that looks really great.
My name is Melinda, and I live in Portland, Oregon, with my husband, and my three children (ages 5,2, and 1). I'm a homemaker (duh), but before I was a homemaker I was a CNA (certified nurses assistant). I mostly worked in retirement homes, hospital work wore me out. Umm, I think that's it. I look forward to chatting with you all.

Hi, I'm a newbie, too! And I also live near you, I'm in Beaverton. I've got one girl, 3 yrs. I stopped working when I was seven months pregnant. I was in PR/Marketing.

Wow, that is so cool, that you all live here in oregon. I figured that you were at least on the west coast since the chat times are pacific standard time. I live off of Foster and SE 138th Ave. Johnson Creek literally runs through my back yard. I look forward to talking to you all.
