Just got one in the mail from the manufacturer
...and as it happened, I had a pot with my husband's icky poached egg gunk fused to the bottom of it. Hey, I thought, let's give this baby a whirl.
A full minute each of two different attachments and the egg was still stuck to the pan--hadn't budged. And the thing was so noisy I couldn't hear Randi Rhodes ranting at me from my radio (THAT'S noisy).
Twenty seconds with a steel scrubbie and some elbow grease and the egg was completely gone. And I could hear Randi just fine. And I hadn't used up any batteries.
I tell you what, though: The Black & Decker people were nice enough to pack this thing in a brand new 13x9 Pyrex pan! That I was glad to get. The Kitchen Scrubber? Not so much.
I think maybe B&D should stick to what it knows, namely, power tools. Don't bother with this thing.
