Description

Ingredients

  • 1 can Chicken Broth
  • 3 clove garlic, chopped
  • 1 tsp chopped ginger
  • Chicken drumsticks - 1-2 per adult
  • 1 med. onion
  • 3 med. tomatoes, bite-sized pieces
  • sweet corn (canned or on the cob preferably)
  • mushrooms (optional) - shiitake have the best flavour
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 can Chicken Broth
  • 3 clove garlic, chopped
  • 1 tsp chopped ginger
  • Chicken drumsticks - 1-2 per adult
  • 1 med. onion
  • 3 med. tomatoes, bite-sized pieces
  • sweet corn (canned or on the cob preferably)
  • mushrooms (optional) - shiitake have the best flavour
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions

Boil the chicken broth with about 3 cans of water, adding the garlic and ginger. Add the chicken drums and allow them to cook for a while before adding the other ingredients. If you're boiling it for a while, leave the tomatoes until about half hour before you want to serve. Season to taste.

This can be eaten as a meal with rice - very substantial. It can also be liquidised (first remove the chicken meat from the bone!) and have milk or cream added.

Notes

The taste is out of this world, totally addictive, and entirely my own creation! You have to try it.

I'd totally forgotten about this 'recipe'... I haven't made it in ages. I should post more things here because I seem to have forgotten most of the things I've posted, and it's nice to get reminders! And this one is goooood! Smiling

Kerri.
