Description

This is a rich chocolate frosting suitable for holiday cakes of all kinds.

Ingredients

  • 1 1⁄2 c Powdered sugar
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 3 squares bitter chocolate
  • 4 T butter, softened
  • 2 1⁄2 T hot water

Instructions

1. Melt chocolate in the microwave or a double boiler
2. Add sugar and water and blend until smooth
3. Add egg yolks 1 at a time and blend thoroughly after each.
4. Add 1 tbsp of butter at a time, beating thoroughly after each.

Frost cake!
