I crochet because this is what I love. I took 2 classes from a local craft store and I have been hooked since.

I wish to increase my knowledge and talent but finding the time amoungst all the other things I have to do well, that is quite the challenge.

For examples of my work you can always go to http://www.mamasshoppe.com or http://www.seasonsoriginals.com

I just found this one artist I believe her address was http://www.dandeliondreams.com OMG she is a crochet goddess. She crochets wool soakers, ponchos, and Leggings and they are soooooo very cute. She is one talented mama.

I know a lot of other fine crafters as well they are my role models and I know that one day after many years of practice and lots of $ spent of yarn lol... I will be 1/2 as good as they are.

Another really good site is http://www.knotbygramma.com (I believe that is the url) She is young, and she makes some interesting things like lip balm holders, flowers, etc....

There is a lady online who keeps a blog named Dottie and she is just so very talented. She is another goddess of crochet.

I could mention so many of my favorite sites with regards to this I could fill this whole screen.

For information on how to crochet or knit check out http://www.stitchguide.com an excellent learning site for newbies as well as pro's.

I learned a simple chain stitch from my mother years ago, but never followed through. That newbie site might be just the thing.
