Not an island in the sun, but my kitchen island. I've been waiting 14 years, but it's beautiful, and worth the wait! Now we just need the countertop to come in, buy some stools, and we're set to go! It's going to be really nice to have actual storage space in my kitchen, and one of the cabinets was designed for bulky stuff, like big roasting pans and tall stockpots. Yippee!

On a sad note, we were broken into and robbed Monday morning. They took a ton of stuff my son had saved up and purchased with his own money like a playstation and games, and paintball guns. They also took the Bose sounddock with my ipod on it and my digital camera and palm pilot. Little scumsuckers. The wors part is how unsafe DD7 feels in her very own house now.
