edible flowers
I'm glad to see the interest in edible flowers again on the upswing.
In your list of flowers to avoid you list daffodils, yet one of the recipes is for jonquils (which are a type of daffodil). I am author of Edible Flowers from Garden to Palate, and in all my research, never came across any daffodil type that was edible. Cowslips (a type of primrose) are indeed edible, yet all other primroses are NOT....are hallucinogenic or toxic. Most people cannot tell the difference, so I follow the "better safe than sorry" rule with edible flowers.Yarrow is medicinal, not culinary.
