We live in a small town (3800 people) in Maine along the Penobscot River We bought an old colonial (circa 1810), a real beast to heat but it has been worth every penny. We just bundle with more woolen sweaters...We love to watch the bald eagles swoop over the river. We moved from the Boston Corporate world 11 years ago and we haven't looked back, it has been wonderful. We have truly "simplified" our lives....
