There are probably a lot of people without health care who are trying to do whatever they can for their sick children. Not knowing what else to do, they turn to OTC medications and use them incorrectly, not having any advice on what is effective and safe.

If you're in this position, folks, ask the pharmacist. They don't charge for advice, and they can at least steer you away from dangerous stuff. Pharmacists are invaluable, and bless them for the help they give so many people who have no other medical care.
