We are "zoo members" go at least twice a month from spring through fall...occasionally we head to the Rainforest at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo in the winter...it's always a balmy 82 degrees there!

Last Saturday the DDS and I went to Columbus to visit the Zoo there...they have baby gorillas! Columbus's zoo is very flat compared to Cleveland's, which requires a quarter-mile trek uphill to get to the Primate, Cat, and Aquatics exhibits. On the other hand, Columbus is more "space"...more steps between animals! I always come home tired.

It was a good day.
