Well, Miri's rolling from her tummy to her back and scooting by pushing with her feet, so she's now a somewhat mobile baby. A tinkering room sounds like a great idea, Zillah, but I don't know what room it could be! I really need to do some decluttering and reorganizing. Right now I'd settle for clearing out my living room, which is officially a disaster area. My 5-year-old niece even told me repeatedly, "This room is a mess!" when my SIL brought the kids for an afternoon. I had to agree with her. My husband's been bringing the mail in since we had Miri. I used to bring it right up to the study so at least the mess was more or less out of the public area, but he tends to drop it in piles in the living room. Somehow the baby is not very patient with my sorting through it all! I'll have to find time sometime soon, though. It's past the point of embarrassment.
